Me too. My BB is a boy. My husband likes boy but I like girl. Of course, my father-in-law and mother-in-law are very very happy. I wish I could have a girl next time. However, we will have less pressure if the 1st one is a boy. Agree or not?
I agree that all parents-in-law like "boy" much as all of them are traditional.
I found that most of the husbands like "boy", 2. Perhaps they want the bb look like them.

I also think that my parents-in-law will like me more but finally found that they mainly focused on the bb boy. We should accept the truth and I agree you to take him home. Otherwise, it would be difficult to teach him when he grows up as all Grandparent will 縦 their grandson.

my parent-in-law dont mind their grand child is boy/girl even my husband is the only 1 boy in their whole family. certainly, they knew the grand child is boy, they are very happy lar !!!!!
I think the happiest people about me having the first baby as a boy are my husband and my mother-in-law. The both are very traditional. My husband even siad doesn't matter the second baby is a boy or girl, the first one must be a son. Of course I wish I would have a baby girl which I can buy all the beautiful dresses for her.
But at the end of the day, your baby is your baby, doesn't matter which gender they are, they are all lovely and beautiful to us. And we would love them and take good care of them no matter what.
I'm really lucky because I have no pressure at all. My mother-in-law already has a few grandsons and granddaughers. My husband said he liked son and/or daughter as long as he/she was his. Although a baby girl would be able to satisfy my shopping spree, I agree with TobsterBB that my baby is my baby and I really love and adore my little boy. :-P
