BB有居留權 but no 特區護照.

if you are not urgently move to OZ, give birth in HK la and then apply PR to your baby. This will secure your baby will have all IDs.

WHY申請唔到特區護照呀?其實我地係唔會長期係澳洲住,所以係澳洲生BB,BB會第一次間拎到個藉,唔想申請PR又再等4年,BB應該會係一段時間,到佢需要讀書,先會考慮返去澳洲~

既然不打算在澳洲長住, 倒不如留在香港生BB. BB的父親是PR, 你們不難取得PR, 等幾年又何妨? 況且還有很多年才需要返學.
在香港生BB, 沒有言語障礙, 又有親人幫忙照顧. 個人認為香港的醫院亦不太差. 澳洲的MEDICAL SERVICE不一定會好得多. 最重要係剛生完孩子頭幾個月, 好需要家人的支持.

You have to settle in HK in order to have the HKSAR passport, which mean at least 7 yrs.

Once parents became Aus citizen, your kids immediate have the citizenship.

爸爸既PR 2013到期...又唔知可唔可以續PR,我地唔要個藉冇所謂,但最希望BB有呀,為佢未來作打算!其實係BNE有老公果邊既親人,我媽咪都會等我生左後過黎一個月同我坐月呀!

我問過入境處唔洗住滿7年即刻就可以申請居留權及特區護照,況且我同老公短時間都唔會長住澳洲,如果要成為citizenship要住4年....所以會生完bb返hk生活,直到BB大個有需要去澳洲讀書,我地先會再返去....

不過你以TR過來, 可以申請medicare嗎? 我只知道如果你已申請PR(即是交了表和錢), 就可以嘗試申請medicare. 最快在入澳洲境後約10個工作天便可去申請. 這是我們的經驗.

我們當時是以TR身份申請medicare, (已交了PR申請表和交了錢). 所以他們批給我們的是一張medicare interim card. 應該無咩唔同. 我們用呢張咭睇醫生無遇過任何問題, 亦無人持別去留意我地張咭同其他人有咩唔同.

我地都未得閒去轉返張咭

I totally understand what you feel. My dad was diagnosed had lung cancer before I left HK. He passed away just before I finished Uni. Didn't get chance to see his last face!

call and ask immigration again, don't forget to record the conversation for future use.

If your baby obtained the HKSAR passport next year, please come back to BK to tell us so we all will go back to apply HKSAR passport to our babies/kids!

Appreciated if you could tell us your name & personal details etc so we can quote to the immigration for reference.

Yeah, it is so sad.
My husband has flown to HK now, though my 99 scolded him wasting money, I think it is a wise decision. I hope my 62's condition is stable, then I would bring the kids to HK in December.

不過我問入境處時,佢講明我係要未成為PR or Citizenship前要為BB申請,一旦入左藉就唔能夠,所以BB係靠我未成為PR時才申請到PASSPORT,唔知你地適唔適合呢個CASE~
