mushroom head - if that's the case, not sure if you need to pay tax or not, but if the goods were purchased over 6 months before you come, guess you don't need to pay anything.

yes la, 3 badminton club -very busy, but meet lots of friends (most of them are chinese) so life here make no diff from that in HK ^_^

真係唔好意思啦，表達得不清楚，我家距離學校頗遠，因為沒有車牌，就要步行過去，如果夏天都可以行路，但是冬天就很辛苦了，所以我沒有報名。派pizza 是在學校的。

Helloween真是好熱鬧，當晚有很多小朋友出去取糖，我的小朋友就與同學仔一同去，因為沒有經驗，個袋太細，後來有位家長給了我小朋友一個膠袋，除了朱古力和糖外，還有薯片和曲奇餅，不過需要檢查過才可讓小朋友吃，因為有部份薯片是過期的，有的糖包裝不好的。今年從新聞報導看到，有小朋友取回去的糖內，有一排藥丸，唔知是惡作劇或是有人不小心! 總之明年你都要小心檢查呀。

今年雖然可以過白色聖誕，但是因為初來步到，朋友都唔識多個，相信要悶在家裏過呢! :-| 如果有人請去party，一定飛到去參加。在這兒沒有車真的很不方便，時常留在家裏，只有與香港的老友聊天或email，幸好有個老友給了我這個網址與你們聊天。你比我好得多，因為你過來會好快考到車牌。你的hubby會不會與你一起過來幫手找屋?[quote]

我記得n年前係溫哥華過x'mas, 好開心, 因為我既family有半數兄弟姊妹都一齊係溫哥華, 果年仲落好大雪, 我地去左hotel食buffet..同聖誕老人影相. 另外d人又好有心思,將自己間屋佈置得好靚.

我諗我既hubby都會一齊過黎, 不過我諗佢最多逗留10日, 跟住就要靠自己同我家姐喇, 不過我會預早叫我家姐幫手搵定apartment, 因為我個hubby話住apartment會安全d喎. 如果你係住溫哥華果邊, 我諗我會唔怕羞咁搵你同doggie, 識多幾個朋友麻...

是呀，如果你是來多倫多就好啦! 你好醒呀，未來已經搜集資料，我就蠢啦，唔識預先搜集資料。來到這兒樣樣都唔知，見步行步，好驚碰釘! 好在個老友叫我上來 BK 聊聊。

這兒有很多間屋已佈置，有的門口佈置得好靚好有心思! 好多燈飾和公仔。

Woo.... :cry: no new patient already! The female family doctor is not accept new patient already. It's so difficult.

sorry for the wrong info.. so what's your plan now? may be go to the walk-in clinic first to see if they could refer you to any female doctor?

yes - we had hang up our x'mas light outside the porch, I will say - it looks great.

bought a small x'mas tree to decor inside the house just to get the atmosphere - actually only 2 of us, will not have any party - just stay home watch DVD or so.. :-(

most probably borrow dvd from library or block bluster to kill our time for the holiday season... :-( :-( :-(

Hi doggie,

It's okay. This is a correct info. So many doctors are not accept the new patient starting from these two months. My neighbour introduced a male family doctor to me. Luckily, I registered already. He is not accept new patient starting from last month. I would like to change female family doctor. It's convenience for me if I want to have body check every year.

It's good idea. I could borrow some DVDs from library to kill our time :-(

我諗溫哥華冬天冇多倫多咁凍, 都唔係成日落大雪, 咁你地自己剷雪或剷草ga?

其實諗起要過去就好驚好驚, 所以而家我要迫自己有晒心理準備, 到時乜到靠自己, 至有信心做得到

好在比我無意中係b.k.搵到有加拿大媽媽會所, 可以上黎搵下人傾下講下感受同搵資料

the first year I came - I lived in Apartment - no need to do the lawn or snow plow.

But paying $1000/month for the rent - is more or less paying the mortgage. so we bought a house now.

by living in a house, need to do the lawn and snow plow by our own - lucky I have my "House Man" to do all those.

however, there are so many kids near by - would like to help you out by simply paying them some $$ then you will save your time/effort for such.

of course the work is not professional. if you need professional work, still do, pay to the landscape company, they will do it for you in higher price.

for me - I am just like drum-stick. When I first come, I don't even know what Toronto will be - just follow my "lo" - "marry chicken follow chicken" lor but so far so good - my life is just like those back in HK - no big diff

初來步到，選擇住 apartment 是比較適合我，因為不想令到自己咁辛苦，用多些時間熟悉了環境才考慮住 house，這兒好多嘢與香港都不同，我都想好像doggie，一或兩年後買屋，享受一吓住屋的感覺。好多鎖絮是事情要慢慢留意，好像現在下雪了，車內也要預備一些剷雪用品，都要慢慢了解，有時朋友也未必會記得提你預備。

早上出外逛逛，見到D人剷雪，好像很辛苦，尤其趕住返工的!

doggie, 請問這兒請人剷雪是否清早來做的?如果要一早出去返工，是否都要自己剷咗車路先? 找學生剷雪從那兒得到資料?你們是用剷雪車或是人手剷雪的?
