Dear all,
I want to buy a LCD TV and seems a lot of promotion now, maybe the Chinese New year is coming and I’ve seen some in Broadway, Jusco..etc..and summarise as follows :

Opt 1 - $8,900
SONY 32” LCD TV - #KLV-32S200A
Gift : SONY RDR – HX720 DVE player & recorder (I don’t have this kind of DVD recorder)

Opt 2 - $12,340
PHILIPS 37” LCD TV - #37PF7321
Gift : 20” LCD TV - #20TA 1600 (but I have one traditional 14” TV in my room, so not sure it’s worth to choose this or not)

Opt 3 - $11,800
SHARP 37” LCD TV - #37AX5H
No Gift.

Which one would you choose?? Or any other recommendations ???

~ One more question : if your living room is 15’ long (wall to wall), how big would you buy?? I’m thinking 32” or 37”. Pls advise.

If wall to wall distance is 15', sure choose 37" or above, e.g. 42".

According to sony website, the best viewing distance is 3H where H = height of screen. (Correct me if I am wrong)

37" LCD is just a bit bigger than 29" CRT.
