I am sorry as i dont know chinese typing. I hope english is fine here. I had Dermoid cyst removed by Dr Tay end August last yr. He told me that i can have any "big big project" as I like in Sept. But I am not so confident to get pregnant as I feel week after the operation and I heard that it's good to wait for 3 months so that the ovary is in full gear to function. During those three months, my period flow become real less (from 5 days to 2.5days) and it sometimes comes in 28 days, sometime 30+ days and even 40+ days. I went back to see Dr Tay and he said as long as I have period I am fine. I asked him to check my lining thickness and thank God it is thick enough to carry a baby. I remmeber the first question Dr.Tay asked me was "have you been trying?". I told him "nope". Then his reply was "Why are you waiting your life?? (in laughing and loud)". In fact i talked to him in English as he knew that I am from Malaysia. Dr Tay is a Malaysian also. But he was educated in S'pore from teenage time. He prescribed me with some ovulation pills and test kits for ovulation. He gave me two month supply. He said I am not too old (below 35) and i can try for 6 months with this method. If it does not work, then he will discuss with me what i can do. I still remember he jokingly told me to "work harder and dont waste my life anymore" and said the next time he sees me is because i am pregnant..not others things else...hehe. My husband is real bad and told Dr Tay that I am always worried to get another cyst again. Dr.Tay whispered to himself "you are so lucky meh..always get cyst ". He thought i did not hear it but i did. So I replied "how can you be so sarcastic..." He felt a bit guilty and laugh out so loud. He is a real fun man and i feel relax seeing him. I think you feel the same way. I just had my period and started taking the pill. He asked me to test the ovulation with the test kit and if it is positive and "work hard" for three days. Also have to give him a call for appointment to check my lining. He said the side effect of the pilss will cause the lining to become too thick in some case. If this happen, I have to stop it and he will suggest me other methind. I think i will be seeing him in two weeks time..what about you? when you will taking the pill?
Maybe we can exchange some info since we have something in common. get pregnant after operation...

Dr. Tay also told me and my husband the same.. We can try one month after operation.. I heard it's better to get pregnant 6 months after operation.. Well, I think it just depends on your body condition.. I feel my life back to normal already now even though it's just 1 week after operation.
I believe the pills and the testing kits I have are same as yours.. It's also 2 months supply..But I have not started to take pills yet because my period has not "visited". There is yellowish flow these 2 days.. Is it period??
I did ask Dr. tay whether it's necessary to check uterus and ovary because I want to make sure it's clean and clear inside in order to carry BB.. He told me not to worry and only need to go to check up every 6 months or after 2 months (if I get pregnant). I really want to have BB this year (it's Golden Pig this year ) And I think it's right time to have BB.. My parents blamed me of not becoming grandparents..
I fully agree what you describe Dr. Tay.. I feel relax when I see him every time.. But I do have some questions too shy to ask him.. Lucky, I can consult here.. ..
I think I may only go to see Dr. Tay after CNY holidays if I get pregnant.. If no, I will see him after I finish the ovulation pills.. It will be end of Mar or early of Apr.. Do let me know after you see Dr. Tay and share with me..
I forgot in my previous message.. I am taking folic acid now.. Heard from friends, it's good to have it before pregnat. You can buy from wastons or ask Dr. to prescribe.

Take it easy. Dont scared yourself before everything is firm. Dont take bird nest and "tong kwai" as it will help the cyst grows and come back. Maybe "Tong Chung Zhou" is good. I heard ppl said, Tong Chung Zhou" can actually help to buid good cells and at the same time control the bad ones. The bird nest and Tong KWai do not recognize good or bad cells and help all cells to grow. So better not to take that. Hey, give me a call if you need me...or if you need anyone to go with you to the hospital or see Dr Tay or for some support...gimme a call. I goes temple every weekends..let me pray for you today :)

Yeah...i started taking multivitamin and Folid acid long time ago..:). but i heard it;s good to consume "tong Chung Zhou" with your husband during the ovulation time according tothe BK sis's experiences. They said easier to conceive woh.
