za...would you pls tell me more about 幼兒潛能訓練課程? which age group did yr daughter join before? what did she learn? is it worth to join?

有時我都怕佢太男仔頭, 大個都唔知點算, 因為佢d行為真係唔似一個囡仔, 做齊晒所有男仔d百厭野, 唉~ 而家日日放工返來, 真係咩時間都冇, 因為yingying唔瞓晏覺, 又四圍攪攪震, 如果見到我用電腦又要我抱住佢一齊玩, 佢又勁拍個keyboard, 想打字, 都難呀~

其實yingying咁樣，係代表佢學習興趣高，先至會圍攪，呢個係階段，BB係要方過觸模去學習，當然呢個時候要開始管教啦，我地都會話比佢知界線，佢都有踩架，有時我地都會好嚴咁stop佢

我地有時都覺得momo好活躍，但諗下，佢唔周圍試周圍攪，又點會學習到野及適應呢個世界呢，太靜又未必係好事。so 我地都好感恩，同埋我地發覺momo學野都算快，所以~~~~~~~~~~~~koko，我都有諗過比佢上幼潛，如果下期開班，你通知我，等我地一齊報

i prefer the class held on sat afternoon. For our kids, we can join the 16-18 months group. which location u prefer? TST or Shek Kit Mei?

I joined the course organised by the Christian Service Centre cos I opined that the other playgroups too commercial and my friend recommended it to me /comments from bk mothers were good.

As far as I can remember, I joined the course when my girl was around 16 months but the course adjourned for some time during SARS. She finished two courses before attending nursery class at the age of 2.

For single child, I think this is a good course if the fee is acceptable to you (not cheap at all, but all the others are also expensive). The children can learn a bit discipline (afterall the parents accompany them the whole lesson) and have chance to listen to instructions, play with other kids. For parents, you can learn some games to play with the kids.

I remember that at one lesson, the teacher taught the children to put rubber bands on a hook hung on the wall. In fact, it is not something new but this is a game to train children's "small muscle". At the beginning of each lesson, the children (with the parents) will sit in a circle and each child will be invited to take a rattle from the basket and sing a song (the same song). After several lessons, when the teacher asked them to take a rattle and sit in a circle, they know it's the beginning of the lesson. I remember that the teacher will talk with the parents in small group about the performance of each child after the lesson and asked the parents to practise with the children the 2 to 3 games/activities learnt in the class for the whole week at home.

Since my girl attended the course 4 years ago, I don't know if the content/arrangement is still the same. But I remember that there was a pre-course meeting at TST, the social worker (in-charge) will brief parents of the course.

To me, the content is not anything new/very special but as a working mom, I have no time to train/teach my child in a systematic way so I try to find a course for her before sending her to nursery school. You can think about it.

I also think your maid wants you to lay her off. My second maid also tendered her resignation last week and will work till June. Although I have no regret for her resignation (as she is not that diligent and her performance is just so-so), I have to incur additional expenditure in sending her home and hiring another maid :cry: . There will be one month or two when there is only one maid and that will be the time when my girl is having the summer vacation (I need someone to take her to the summer course and pick her up) and we are going to move to the new flat.........

koko, queenie......我都有小小興趣比yingying玩下呢類"幼兒潛能訓練課程", 但係個course 好似都幾貴喎~

仲有冇其他平少少既選擇~ 如果價錢合理, 我都prefer星期六下午, 最好係3-5pm呢段時間仲好~ :mrgreen: 同埋我都想比yingying 16-18個月大先學, 我覺得而家學好似早左少少, 佢都未知發生咩事咁~

queenie......momo d 頭髮真係好長, 好可愛, 好攪笑,你有冇幫佢紮辮仔, yingying d 頭髮同momo一樣咁多咁長, 我已經幫佢剪左好多次, 因為個衰妹唔比我紮辮仔, 又唔比我幫佢夾髮夾仔, 但佢又勁怕熱, 成日熱到ar頭同扯頭髮, 我只好幫佢剪短佢~
