I cooked a 13 lb turkey I got for free from my grocery store (after buying $50). I put some sticky rice, chinese sausage, mushroom, dried shrimp and mixed vegetable stuffing. It turned out pretty good. I baked it for 4.5 hours. It was my first time making turkey -chinese style so it was ok!
Hayden B understands more words now. He likes to hold on to the bottle and drink milk. He hands the empty bottle to me when he is finished and nods when I asked him "want more?" He smiles and nods. He is very active now. He bullies other kids in the playgroup, always taking their toy away. I really have to teach him to share more.
Oh, the wedding.. I took the measurements to a Hong Kong store in Kwun Tong to make my chinese dress for the reception. No stores here make the style I like. Hope it will turn out ok. I also going to make two vietnamese dresses for the ceremony and the dinner. So now I just have to maintain my weight!
PEPSII: CONGRATS! So great your bb is finally born! You must be tired! It seems so long ago that I gave birth, but enjoy it while you can!
mrs.leung: it is sure getting cold in Texas! My winter melon died, but I am starting some choy sum in the garden now. I also planted a star fruit tree a while ago and it is surviving ok. I can actually take Hayden B with me out to the yard when it was warmer so I get more time to work in the vegetable garden!
