I have been really down lately coz of Ho Yin's eczema and the pressure from my old company.
I have one year parental leave and suppose to go back to work this Aug.
However, now they inform me that they are going to have a huge restructuring and I may not be able to do my old job.
They must provide me a job but if they dont have my old job (cancelled), they can offer me other positions.
They want me to decide whether I will go back or not.
As Ho Yin's eczema is getting serious recently, I just dont feel right to go back to work.
I cant trust people at childcare centre to put cream on him like what I do.
I cant see him getting more serious coz no one takes care of him.
However, financially we cant afford to lose my income for another few years.
My sister-in-law suggests me to start up my own business (selling children clothing in NZ) but I dont have confidence that I can cope with the workload (take care of Ho Yin and do business).
I will take this weekend to think about the whole thing again!!!

may be better, may be more poor.
now, not only you have a baby have this problem. many baby/mama face the same problrm.
now it not the good time to start your own business, to carry one company/shop not so easy like you think. more difficult than work in a company. if you are just a worker, you will know the time to work & the time you can leave. but be a boss, you never will know. you need to work 24hours, not work by hand, just you need to think a lot of things. i am a boss of a company, i know well how poor be a boss, specially when your BB is ill or have problem.
talk with your husband or family, check up your finance. how long you can stop to work & take care will your baby. may be 1year or more.
take care yourself not only take care your body, you also need to care your "mind".
"eczema" just the problem of the skin, not "mind",
if i am your baby, i never see smile from my mama,
i will think, may be my mama not LOVE me.
you want your baby think like that ?!
i am a mama & love my BB, because of love, i must strong myself. my mama always talk to me, how to solve the problem, it simple, just face the problem & try to solve.
How are you? Hopefully you have made up your mind. Being a self-employed person isn't easy; unless you have many potential clients, you will need to spend a lot time on that.
I have many friends kids also have eczema and they told me that the eczema will be clear around a year old because of mature immune system. For my girl, her whole body has red dots and the neck, face, knees are the most serious area. Now, she is getting better la. I hope it will be clear one day.

I never tried 中醫治濕疹, but my friend did. Her son has very serious 濕疹. after bathing with the medicine around 8 times (not recommand for drinking because of the young age), most of 濕疹 are gone. I may try it with my daughter later.
That 中醫 said "Chuen lin" are not good for healing 濕疹 because it will cause "wai hon" (stomach cold). Sorry I can't type Chinese... hopefully you will understand what I meant.
但我們絶對是好人啊 :mrgreen: 可惜是時間太少了, 其間又要忙於照顧bb們, 真的覺得時間太短, 希望下次可以多d時間再傾過
