我做手術前醫生都係咁講，最終都做到微創。唔洗担心，要對醫生有信心，一切都會好順利的。

手術前若果可以，試下做d鍛練大小腿的運動。因手術後肚不能出力，對腳好力d，上落床和車都有幫助。我果時都係咁。

好多謝你哋呀:-P , 有咁多sisters支持我再加埋我對Dr Tay嘅信心, 我相信我到時的手術會好順利.

但我自己唔爭氣, 呢個星期因天氣轉涼, 我感冒咗個多星期, 而家仲食緊藥. 一日都係自己唔聽話, 一個星期前已經有少少感冒積象,

但就以為係鼻敏感唔理佢, 後尾仲有咳先至在星期五睇醫生, 希望呢兩日會快啲好,今日已經比之前好多了, 但唔知會唔會有影响呢?

因為我會在7 號入院做手術.但我就唔想改期.

Meg, 好多謝你的提示, 咁arm 我跳咗健康舞已經有1年多, 我唸唔多唔小都對大腿肌肉有幫助啩?-(

Reading from this forum, 講到鄭醫生勁正斗！I have booked Dr Tay for consultation on next Friday. 上星期六因月事來太久,找了一位婦科本來只是問問, 點知一照ultrasound, a fribroid of 74mm is found. I have consulted another dr yesterday, her opinion is different from the first one. So I think i have to consult more doctors to get opinion and to see which dr is the most reliable one to have the operation. The second doctor told me mine is only a 纖維瘤，７４不算很大，　不過，　如果用微創便要連子宮一起割除，　因個瘤貼實子宮，只割瘤便要開肚！我已經４０多，己有一子，不生了！但最好梗係想用微創及只割瘤！其實割子宮會有那些後遺症呢？割左一了百了，又係咪有好處呢．．．？個心好鬼．．．．．煩．．．呀！各位姊妹．．．．．俾吓意見及經驗．．．．．先謝謝．．．．

我相信你現在是找一個藉得信任的醫生是最重要的.
他的意見很好的, 技術亦好,
如你見過dr tay , 對他有信心, 便找他做吧!
否則可找另一個. 不過我相信你也會對他有信心.

Dear Oasis,

I just has my operation done by Dr Tay at the end of Oct. So I can give you a idea. It costs me $65000

, including doctor's fee , all the hospital fee ,etc.

I stayed in St,Teresa hospital , room with 8 (big room). I just stayed for 1 night.

About the sick leave, I am a housewife, but Dr. tay will ask you whether you need it or not. Don't worry

Wow. $65000 is quite a lot!How many fibroids did you get cut? How about the size? You only stayed for 1 night, you're so tough! The sick leave is important for me since I have to plan my work schedule and report to my boss.

Any sisters can give me some idea about the charges and the sick leave period? I don't want any babies anymore sicne I have already got one and I am over 40. Is it better to cut the >70mm fibroid or have the uterus cut? What're the side effect if Ihave the uterus cut? Thanks in advance!

Dear oasis

My fibriod is 7.5cm and that's the only one. I am 35 with 1 boy 1 girl. But Dr tay said the operation won't affect me if I still want to get pregnant.

The reason why I checked out the hospital the next day? I could not sleep and rest well there. The "big" room was really noisy, keeping on having visitors around (the others), they talked loudly and ignored other who was taking rest.

I guess you pay for what you get.

My case is quite similar to yours. Mine is 74mm .Oh! $65000 That's qutie a lot of money . Though I have got insured, it only covers not more than $22000. You still want to have babies? I heard that new fibroids will possibly come out after cutting the old ones . What I am thinking is to have the uterus cut since my M frustrates me very much each month. The amount is quite a lot since it came when I was 13.

Dear Oasis, about the insurance, mine only covered $25000, but it's worth to have the operation done. I did ask Dr tay about the fibriod "reborn" issue, He said in my case it happens rarely(cross my fingers). At least, not in the same area.

And I think you see dr.tay first before you worry too much. He can explain to you in every detail you want to know.

If you are not afraid of blood, remember to ask him to show you the video of the operaion(from the computer).

I can understand you worry a lot because I was like that too. Try not to think too much. You'll have a decision after you see Dr Tay.

我切了一粒畸胎瘤, 睡了2晚浸會, 大約$44000.
其實要視乎每個人的手術情況會有不同的收費.
你最重要是由現在起, 每想到的一個問題都寫下來,

見醫生時, 逐一問他. 以免到時見到醫生會唔識問呢!

我都係住st teresa's ...住左4 days 同開刀用左$57000, 至於假期dr 話佢通常會比4 weeks to 6 weeks的..咁我咪話我要6 weeks law

最多無咩事就早d番工呀...

我公司哥份保險同自己哥份..我都claim足晒了.

所以好彩唔使自己比錢....不過唔緊要啦...都係自己身体緊要呢..dr tay 好勁架...我真係咩事都無...做完手術又唔痛又開胃..同埋你地做微創梗加快康復呢...我開刀dr 都叫我第三日就出院呢...

你睇下有無其他問題問我地啦...我地個個都做完手術仲好成功呢..

記唔記得我呀

要割子宮同瘤嗰個呀, 我係7 號入院, 今日上午先出院, 原來我攪錯, Dr係同我開刀唔係用微創. 原本我可以早啲出院, 但Dr想我穩定啲, 所以住耐咗.

我其實開過一次刀, 同做過一次微創手術, 今次已經係第三次, 而且今次比起以前都算大手術. 但今次竟然係最唔痛的一次. 手術後的第一日當然有啲痛, 但第二日落床後, 已經可以慢慢行, 同埋唔係好痛. 第三日已經可以行得好好. :-P

其實我入手術前都好驚,

我竟然:-( 咗出黎, 但病房有個護士(好似係護士長) 同手術室啲護士不斷安慰我:-P . 我先定啲. 手術前, 個麻師 (蔡醫生)好好人, 因為我啲血管好幼, 佢驚整痛我, 猛咁話唔好意思, 但其實都冇整痛我.

手術前我仲有好多問題問Dr, 佢好好人解釋得好清楚, 唔知佢會唔會覺得我好麻呢

今日講住咁多先啦
