i once went for the dragon boat race on centre island, no more next time - too crowded (esp. waiting for the ferry - nearly 1 hour each trip). moreover, not too much activities on the island (except watching the boat race), not too much food stall (or have not - can't remember), i just remember i was starving and immediately bought a hotdog when reaching the shore before taking the car.

thanks for your checking; and your suggestion is a really good one. actually, i drove to steeles (east) on saturday, there was a farm. i went and checked, the strawberry pick started this thursday, but they don't have cherry - so i went to supermarket and bought 4 lbs.
R U excited for the move this coming weekend? Everything is well packed and planned? Don't forget to activate your water, hydro account the first day you move in. The heat wave will be a killer without AC and water.

I would strongly suggest you hire a vent/carpet cleaner. I can't remember which utility, but one of them won't accept fax/phone call from the lawyer. Check with your lawyer on that. Don't forget to get yourself a bluebox (again, what's the chance your last owner would leave you a blue box) and postbox key.
Security company - For the time being, you could follow Indiana Jones movie. Poison gas, snakes, spell etc. Better yet, put a big sign at the front door and said "SARS patient inside", it works better than "Beware of dogs"
I am waiting the DVD release. My girl is too young and hard to sit still for 2 hours.
we will replace the existing carpet. Thanks for your advice. I believe that we have to double with the property tax department ourselves.. The owner is kind enough to show us which mailbox is. Hopefully everything will go smoothly... so excited.
just for curiosity, where to get the blue box and the green box?? from provincial government? or town? Or we should bought for our own?

my 2 god sons went to see the "finding nemo" and they said "it is Gay" I thought that's what they meant - they don't like it. they kept saying it is dumb... I guess it might only good for those age 9 or below....
