Thanks for your kind advice. I understand that secretary are responsible for many 濕碎 工作, I am just worried that everything is so adhoc and non-systemic. I may find difficulty in hand ...

Yes, I think life in Macau is more relax but also is much more boring wor!
This you must put into concern.
I have been here for 8 years.
In the past, the life in here was sure easier, I mean the living expenses is low.
Now, it’s getting higher la, some prices are even higher than HK.
But still, I believe is more relax than HK.
Since u’r husband own a flat, so the most costly expense is settled.
That’s good.
You can sure apply a macau id since U’r husband is a resident.
You can work here right after u applied.
I think if you are willing to work in any company, you won’t be difficult to finding an admin job ma!
If you prefer to work in those few big casino/hotel company, it might not be as easy only because the admin/secretary posts are not much.
But you can sure try ma, you have nothing to loss gai!
Anyhow, I do believe it’s easier to get a job in macau than in HK and has a better prospect.
Salary in a small company, I think it’s around 8k ~ 10k ma.
So in a big company I think would be around 13~18k.
what I mentioned is for a departmental secretary la, I think u could get higher if u are the secretary of the CEO/COO
Thanks so much for your kind reply and advise. My husband and I don't mind bored life. Actually, working in HK means work late still 7-8 p.m. everyday. Too tiring for me. I rather hav ...
Well, in macau there are also jobs that require work late too.
It’s all just depend.
What I meant from better prospect is because macau is expanding right now and hk is a already developed city.
When a place is developing there must be more opportunity ma!
About the education, since I don’t plan to move back to HK, so I won’t send them to hk for secondary school.
But for university, they can choose wherever they want.
First, I am not the parent who must put the kids in the best/famous school.
I only consider the spirit of the school.
Seoncd, I believe if u are good in academic u will do good anywhere.
But of course, if you are considering to move back to hk then there might be a difficulty for the child for the transition since the curriculums are different.
Ok la, don’t worry too much.
U sure can do fine in macau.
I’m just the same as you ma and I am consider myself doing ok in macau.
