I like furniture from Ikea as they're about the most decent ones here (in terms of style and price) but everytime go to Ikea with a list, always come back with more things...oh, this is nice ~ only 99p and we buy, buy, buy... and the house is in a chaos for months with all the flat packs everywhere as it usually takes me (yes, i'm bob the builder) time to assemble them bit by bit...

fran, re what to cook ~ i always recommend tomatoe/egg as it can be as saucey as you like and it is sweet. I did like baked beans with rice when I was little (you know...having baked beans from the tin in HK was a special treat and hubby find it very weird).
Oh, does mitch like eggs, potatoes & onions? Maybe you can try doing a spanish omelette for him as a quick lunch. Let me know if you're interested ~ I have typed up my own recipe and instructions somewhere...

Carlos has eaten rather well recently...I boil potatoe, carrot, courgette, onion with either lamb or pork into a thick soup and mince it all up for him, so the mince is almost like a very thick and meaty but smooth sauce. I think I need to move him onto lumpy food...but always but the blender for too long...
