u might not wanna compare yr husband's income w/ yr friends'. he might not be happy abt it. my hubby is kinda sensitive too.
living out of bay area CA is also a choice. some of our friends and coworkers have the same salaries while they relocated to other states such as TX, GA, etc. but of course we know the living standards, esp. the house prices, are much lower there. meanwhile, we paid for the nice weather in CA.

To get a phd, I guess it will worth it if it's your passion or for self-fullfillment etc. But if people want to make money out of the degree, I think it would be a waste of time/effort. :) Ye ...

i guess probably the fatal cases were due to over-dosage.

i usually wrote down the time and dosage given to my son for each specific medication to make sure no over-dosages.

一般燕窩有3隻色, 白色係白燕, 黃色係金絲燕, 紅色係血燕.
price-- depend on 來源地, 顏色同型狀..
白燕最common, 質地"淋".. wet wet 地
金絲燕中價, 爽爽地, 有啲咬口
血燕最貴, 只貴在有鐵質, 但你可以喺血燕渡吸收到幾多iron, 我就好有疑問...
如果想令bird nest 爽口, 就唔好"登"太耐
金絲燕--我係喺寶榮行同mott 街蟲草城買嘅
血燕--係 green tree 買, 留一半俾我..
however, 大肚時食血燕有allergy..攪到全身出疹5日, 攪到要打針.. 仲俾Dr. Mary wong同Mary, Rachel 鬧, 之後怕怕就冇食.. 我會wait until Gabriel 斷人奶後再食番..
