hello all mama ... I have been busy in looking for job since I got laid while i was pregnant ... now I found a job very close to home ... and lucky i have my 9 9 to help me taking care nathan.

queen mama: you can eat more rice, to have better milk production too.

owen mama: my house also set 23C, since bb sleep with me and my hubby, so our room is so warm most of the time. but bb still dress 3 layers

tchu mama: if aiden not happy with cereal, maybe you can try to boil some soup for him. my 9 9 said is ok just give bb some carrot meat soup, but sure is not too fat and no need to put seasoning too. you can boil a big pot and make sure an extra bowl is not seasoned and the rest of soup can drink for everyone in the family.

I am going to start working tomorrow lar, is a new job, so excited but worry too,

since I have not been working for almost a year now.

tchu mama, 好似AHBOCAT 所講0既TEXTURE, 都好影響BB食唔食. 但我發覺有時係睇bb心情, 同一樣食物 (菜心支) 之前食5條都唔夠, 今日又一條都唔要....我最近有時要一餐煮兩次, 因為第一次REFUSE, 就煮過另外一D野比佢, 如果都係食得少, 就top up w/ milk. 所以煮bb餐都係方便為主, 因為大少爺d口味真係....

唔知你有無試過bb pasta? 我係walmart 買0左一合, 煮4分鐘就得, 質地都唔錯, 係滑同軟, owen都好中意食, 我試過大人細細粒果d, 太過al dente得滯. 我bb而家主要食粉同粥仔, cereal係我無時間整, 就開糊仔.

cereal 我上次又係朋友屋企try 過pc 新出0既organic corn cereal, 幾香!!我上次買, 就out of stock.

不過你0甘快就出番泥做野, 真係好叻呀!!! 好似hk d mama 0甘, 幾個月就要番工. 近屋企就好啦, 0甘你take lunch都可以番去睇nathan.

我都想出呢做番野, 不過得個諗字....其實我想去做mac, 學化妝....queenie，你係唔係mua? 你知唔知入行0既情況係點ga? 係唔係要full time training?

我都係freelance性質咋, 反正自己有份正職唔想放棄! 不過有0左之後就無接job啦, 化個妝要企足全程, 閒閒0地成個鐘化一個客, 都辛苦0架, 仲未計拎個化妝箱同其他架生!

不過時間有彈性囉, 自己可以話事~ 生0左如果揍得easy都可以慢慢pick up番!

我0係Centennial take個part-time certificate course咋, 之後就邊做邊學, 初初係接volunteer job或者sponsor吓0的events咁, 慢慢build up信心同clientel 囉!

你有咩想知可以隨時問我呀!

Thank you every mama for your advise on preparing bb food, cus Aiden's cereal strike did make me feel suck as a new mom!

Beselsel, like Owen mama said, your previous employer cannot laid you off cus you are pregent? Unless they laid off all the employees in your department, otherwise, they are against the Labour Law.

Ahbocat mama, thanks for your info on graco's stroller recall.

hi all mama
Yes, office did laid other people in my team, so they can stay away from being sue issue to laid me. but it was a good thing which i could stay home and rest during my pregnacy, and now back out to work and could find a better job which I think is all better planned for me. and I am happy with what I have now. Thanks for all you mama care and concern about it .. so nice of you all!!!

I also have interest in learning make up too, but making it as a career, I really think is amazing, as for myself, I might not have confidence to help other people make up at all .. queen mama you are so smart!!! hey do you have facebook account gar, can I add you?? there only few more weeks to go, you better enjoy your sleep time now!! otherwise sleeping is like a luxury thing after baby borned!!!

I also had a friend who learned make up at seneca college. after that, she did take some part time job in a wedding studio. maybe owen mama can think about it bor!!!

我上星期check到有左﹐book左North York General嘅何E生﹐有無媽咪係揾佢接生架? 佢好唔好嘅呢? 男E生好似好尷尬咁......... 而且第一次產檢係book到3月尾(家庭E生幫我book嘅)﹐嗰時我已經約13週﹐會唔會太遲? 我听朋友講成個懷孕期只會照兩次ultrasound﹐is that true? 成個懷孕及分娩過程﹐有乜嘢醫療開支係需要自費? 我乜都唔識﹐請大家見諒。

我都好想學化妝，唔好話要幫人化，自己買埋一堆化妝品，識得化妝幫自己扮靚都好！
我仲想學珠寶鑑證／設計，考個牌搵份part time，我成日都想做番啲自己有興趣嘅o野，我驚我第時後悔！

By the way，讀證書課程嘅學費係可以扣稅o架，大家媽咪可以諗吓！

你o個位何醫生係唔係Dr. Man Fan Ho？如果係，我都係搵佢接。佢好nice好好人，雖然唔多講野，但係就成日笑咪咪，好似好怕羞咁。係男醫生，不過我就唔覺尷尬，每次checkup都係touch個肚，生個時你都唔理得咁多，個腦淨係得阿B！

第一次睇產科醫生係12-13週，個個都係咁o架，所以你唔洗驚話遲，係有個schedule跟住，度頸皮，IPS1，IPS2，結構超聲波...你唔會miss！放心！

如果真係Dr. Man Fan Ho，你就唔洗驚照得兩次ultrasound，因為佢office有部機，次次checkup都有得見阿B！！哈哈！

OHIP都包咗好多費用，都唔洗點用錢。所有checkup，抽血，tests，照ultrasound都唔洗錢。住院OHIP包四人房，如果你有公司醫保就睇contract包啲乜，兩人房就＄210／晚，單人房就＄260／晚。North York General收paperwork＄10，病房電話＄2.25。如果你會幫BB儲cord blood，哩啲就係extra嘅支出，NYGH再額外收＄100幫你處理，Dr. Man Fan Ho會收＄50幫你抽樣本。

如果你需要Dr. Man Fan Ho做"額外"嘅paperwork係要收費嘅，護士會話你知。

嘩~~~多謝你呀ahbocat! 你答得好詳細呀!!! 我就係揾Dr Man Fan Ho!! North York 只得佢一位唐人醫生。原來個個都係咁遲先做第一次產檢﹐咁我真係放心好多﹔因為我見HK嗰邊﹐好多人6週開始就去照哩樣照嗰樣咁....但如果真係有事touchwood例如宮外孕呀無心跳呀咁﹐自己會唔會知架(流血?)? 13週先見E生check到咪好遲囉?? 另外係咪開頭只會一個月checkup一次? 係咪好似睇家庭E生咁﹐even make左appointment都係要等成個鐘咁架??

NYGH唔只得Man Fan Ho一個唐人婦產科醫生，仲有Paul Shuen，Jeremy Wong，Dennis Chu，Vincent Cheung...etc. 不過，你係冇揀錯！

Jeremy Wong都聽聞好好，如果Man Fan Ho quota滿咗，我都suggest啲朋友搵Dr. Wong。

如果你touch wood覺得小腹唔舒服，小事嘅家庭醫生可以幫你，真係有啲乜事，係一定會見紅...立即要去ER！

係呀！香港啲醫生好早就要照乜check乜，哩度就make sure個胎穩定先開始做o野。有好有唔好啦，睇吓你自己點睇。HK醫生乜都要收錢，你照／驗多幾次佢仲開心，哩度就係用政府啲錢。不過你放心，所有要做嘅都一定做足，我自己就覺得Ontario嘅醫療服務(除咗ER)真係好好！

產檢開頭係4星期一次，30週左右就2星期一次，35-36週就1星期一次。你揀Dr. Ho就唔洗怕要等，以我嘅經驗平均只係需要15分鐘（由入診所到出診所計），除非你o個日要去一樓個lab度驗血／做尿糖測試，咁就耐好多。比個tips你，如果你知道o個日睇Dr. Ho之後要驗血，睇醫生之前就去拎個籌（number），o個間lab有時好多人，但係就得兩個護士做野。

Dr. Ho唔再收婦科症，所以mostly都係做產檢，咁啲appointments就會排得好好！

點解我咁夜仲未瞓？哈哈哈！遲啲你咪知囉！

for now on, you better take care yourself, everything need to be really really careful ... you really not need to worry, I have a friend who had Dr. Ho as her OB for her second child, which she found Dr. Ho is better than Dr. Shuen (for her first child).

我仲記得第一次見AHBOCAT MAMA 同叻一個BK MAMA, 出去DOWNTOWN 食野0既情形. 果時兩位MAMA 已經無啖好食, 而我當時大住個肚暫時可以致身事外. 直到BB出世後.....HAHAHA
