All,

Tristan got sick ah!!! He has been having a dry cough for almost 10 days but has gotten worse over the weekend. So finally went to the doctor yesterday, said he has a little throat infection and a little cold and a little eye infection. But wah the doctor gave Tristan so many medicine, I don't even know how to feed him. He has 1 bottle 3 times a day, 2 bottles for before bedtime, 1 eye drop (4 times a day) and a nose drop before bedtime. 1 bottle just in case he has fever.

Tristan is still usually only awake for 2 hours but has to drink milk, change diaper (sometimes clothes). Then now also has to feed him medicine, by the time finish everything, he has to go to bed again. This morning, after milk, I feed him medicine, he ended throwing up everything, so I not only have to change him (my mom has milk all over her as well, she was holding Tristan when I feed the medicine). Really by the time we finish, it was 2 hours already. Also think the medicine makes him sleepy so he is not even waking up as much. feels so bad he has to take medicine and so much medicine too.

Poor Tristan !!! I know how it feels when baby gets sick since Jas has had a flu for over one week. She has visited the doctor 2 times and like Tristan, she has medicine for cold, medicine for cough, one eye drop and one nose drop. Since I have mixed the medicine with the formula, so she can take the feed and the medicine at the same time, so feeding her the medicine is not a problem to me. So may be you can try mixing the medicine with the breast milk, of course, you have to feed him by bottle and have to ensure he can finish the feed, so may be you can separate his feed into two, the first half with medicine and another without. It really helps and you can try try lah

Mui Mui,

Tristan is actually a good baby in terms of taking the medicine orally, he only spits back out very little. It's the eye drop that I can't get his eye to open up law.

How u feel now? Drink more water ah!!!Do Jasmine's nose water getting less? Last time Nat. also use Pigeon's nose device to suck her nose water, but true to say not really helpful, so finally I use wet cotton ball---> wipe it to tip to clear her nose.
I have go to Jas. website.........wah!!! so many lovely clothes......Pink pink pink!!!! U know what, in one of the photos, Jasmine wearing a coat which have a CAT logo on the left chest, (from chickeeduck), I want to buy that coat, but no more pink one...........so finally I only buy a short coat instead of long one.....

Last time when I feed Natnat her meds, I use the tiny syringe, and at first she spilt all out....then I give it 0.1cc by 0.1cc, then she try to taste it little by little, cause she only need to take 0.5 cc per time, so finally she can finished 2 kinds of meds. maybe u can try as well, in between can give water.....I think those meds shouldn't be too bitter as it's for baby. :wink:

I tasted the medicine, not bitter, they are sweet but still have medicine taste law.

Anyway, I have used syringe already and little by little, I think this morning was just after his milk and the taste of milk and medicine, just not the greatest taste in the world law.

佢而家日日都摟頸, 食奶&訓覺既時間都亂晒, 好彩佢夜晚訓到, 唔係返工果時就我屎咯.....唔知佢聽日食左安眠藥之後個schedule會亂成點呢
