no, HR just give me the medical booklet (from manulife) and ask me to check with Manulife if I have any question (very unhelpful).. and when calling the Manulife, they will check everything already list in the manual, if you have any question, check with your HR..
but I don't think we have that $8 admin fee...
you are so lucky to have the Jun 30 off. any plan to go away for the extended long weekend.
I wish I could - but as a small potato can't take the leave since the "big" boss already taken that, and we have to stay here for the quarter end closing. poor me.
Poohpoohmama, sorry for confusing you with ckkwkl. are you living closed to Frank Enden? My girl friend lived in fortune cre. will go there to visit her this sunday to her home decor....
lucky that we lived in the condo and have the CAC turn on all day.
Yes, he is quite funny sometimes, we joke around a lot.
Prepared?! Erm.....I guess not totally prepared yet. Just got the bb crib and matress, and of course loads of bb clothes.
But I don't live in RH, I live in North York, going to North York General to give birth. Hopefully, SARS will be gone by then, so my hubby can stay longer with me in the hospital!
me too, the air conditioning in the condo is not functioning well, and we have to turn on the fan (all night) to cool ourself....
I got rejected with my visa card application - This is the second time.. The first is the TD bank, they said they don't have any credit record for me and thus can't issue the credit card to me... Now if the President choice (the credit card to buy things in no frill, and other supermarkets) also rejecting me, saying will have to have at least one year credit record before they would issue the card to me.... ha, so bad.... :-x
it is no good for your credit history. Have you talked to your banker where you save your BIG $$$? Maybe they can give you a unlimited credit card without problem. Tell them your situation and make sure don't be rejected the third time. Your problem is the problem of most of new immigrants.
Your condo's AC isn't working properly? Please check if the "mouth" is open widely. Because when we moved in to our new condo, the outside "mouth" was opened, but there was another "mouth" open vertically closed. My friend helped me to use screwdriver to open it. Since then, the AC works so well.
Did you just walk in, fill in the app. and drop it to the mailbox? If so, try a different approach. You did mention you bought a new house right??!! Are you going thru Mortgage or paying in full? Either way, talk to the bank rep. They can get you a VISA card. If you/hubby are taking courses from Seneca or other post-secondary institue, get one of their sponsor VISA card. Those VISA card helps student to build credit history.
PoohPoohMaMa,
"Mouth"?? Does it come with a "Tongue"?? (just pulling your leg)
We should learn from the Indians - Performing Rain Dance...
I took Chester (my dog) out last night. As soon as he step out the door, he rushed back to the house. What kind of a dog I got??!!
don't quite understand what you mean by the mouth? the air outlet is inside the living room, and the mechanics come to check it out saying that it is normal, and ask us to close the blind to block off the heat from the sun...
my husband saying the cooling system within the building is old and may not have enought "freezer" and that's it.
talking about the credit card, we do have one from HSBC but the charges are so expensive and would like to have another free of charges.. that's why we go to TD bank.. may be we will have to wait for a year to build up the credit record then...
Oscar, you have a dog! I wish I would, but my hubby always saying no way.... as he scare me about walking the dog during winter time....cold and freezing..
yes, we bought the house, but haven't search for the mortgage, and will do so in Aug time, hopefully by then, be able to get a visa card...
