I have checked Meiji & 和光堂 milk powder in Japan. They were at 1980 yen per can. so inluding tax, it is around 160 HKD. but i can't read Japanese... dunno how to order in bulk le.... sorry... seems can't help u~
no ar... the milk powder can be bought from Department store with baby care & supplies department only...... where will your sister go? Tokyo or Osaka or.....?? You can ask her to check Daimaru, Jusco or Sogo.. the baby dept is named as '子供xxXXxxx', usually around 5-8/Floor, above the mens and womens fashion floor.
One day I read the newspaper, it said 若果在哺乳期間，母親減肥，會另小孩壽命減短。I still have breastfeeding, so I will do exercise (after 100 days of delivery) to make my body shape look better but still eat normal. I am now looking for some fitness club, California fitness have a plan ($199 six weeks for improve body shape). I will call and ask more later.
Icecrm, my sister is now in New York, she will go to Tokyo around the end of March to see Sakura. Anyway, I will ask her to go to the department store to check for me. Thanks. Hey, do u have a big shopping?
There are millions department stores in Tokyo downtown.... besides Jusco. Sogo and Daimaru... there are many small scale dept stores which may be cheaper for her to buy milk powder.....

My trip was very great but busy... had to wake up very early morning everyday as I have concentrated the iteniery into 5 days. It was snowing heavily everyday but not too cold. We ate a lot a lot everyday there~!! I missed my baby so much on the first days of travel... because i saw a Japanese mum holding a baby (I guess 3-month old baby girl) to go hotspring too!!!
I didn't shop a lot in Sapporo as i spent most of the time for eating and hotspring~!!~!~!! But the baby stuff from japan are really cute and nice even they are expensive.. I saw many toys are very cute and interesting... I will buy for my baby later....
