I use half and half thai and japanese rice and soak it overnight with water and a small piece of 陳皮 overnight so that the rice cooks softer and mellow.
I've never done 湯 ...

not early la. need to start thinking for it! coz when i had mitch, i didnt come to internet quite often. so i didnt cook anythings for him, just bought him baby food only!!! and now if it is possible, of coz i would like to cook if i can. coz mitch can have it as well. dont have to cook the meal twice or maybe more!!!!

true...oh just remember when i first started doing congee for carlos, so 'lei hei'...sometimes too much water, sometimes not enough water and ended up have to give him babyrice instead... I have even tried cooking it a few times b4 actually started cooking for him ~ i'm so冇鬼用...
Now I can do his congee in 30 mins, no problem at all!
But I tell you what, once i've cooked carlos' meals, I can't find time to do my own cooking...so i eat late, eat his leftovers, eat junk...but i'd rather he eats well and i still have my reserved 'fat's to burn even if i have to skip my meals

may i know if those meat packs are smart price one?? i really dont know that they got that kind of offer! oh that huggies wipes they are in offer for a long times. but yes its the time for me to do the stocks as well!! hahhaa...

no, they're the normal packing ones, not smart price packs ga, so the quality is not bad ga! i just bought a pack of chicken breast for carlos but i can't buy 3 packs la 'cos no one eats them with me...

I dunno ar... that's for the kids only but they will do different things regarding CNY for a whole week. Howie's nursery is quite flexible, they welcome parents to join-in anytime. I'm not going to dress up la... haha... What will you do to 'celebrate' CNY?

I prefer to meet earlier, so can make use the day as I have to get home preparing dinner.

what about play first then have meal? cos tired, hungry and thirsty after playing.
