You bring your daughter to casino? Where is the train terminal in Niagara? why don't you bring her to some natural places... like a park... pick cherry is nice experience.
We had been Niagara Falls with my girl before by car. Friend of ours who work in VIA gives us a free day pass to Niagara (and return). That's why we are not driving.
Sorry, What I meant was how to kill time apart from going to casino/pick your own/outlet mall/marineland.
We haven't decide whether we shall take the local bus to the Falls or cab from the train station once we arrive.
I have never been to the street fest. but it sounds fun. We did however went to take a look the PRIDE party last Saturday. Here is my wife's friend comment "WHAT A WASTE". And my comment was "I felt their eyes had raped me 10 times already"
Anyway, and so we went to Niagara Falls with VIA. The train departs in Union Stn. @ 9:40am and arrived in Niagara Falls @ 11:20am. We got the shuttle day-pass for $6. It's like TTC day-pass. You can take the local bus within those tourist area. From Lundy-Lane (a men's nightmare, but women paradise outlet mall) to MarineLand (also men's nightmare, but children paradise themepark). We had lunch in Rock Rest. The view from the rest. is breath-taking but the food and the price sucks. The train departs from Niagara Falls @ 5:40pm and arrive in Union @ 7:40pm. I must admitted if it's not FREE, I won't take the train. It's just too expensive. But overall, it's good family trip.
At night, we went to "Lee Yu Moon" rest. in Metro Square. Very delicious. Two of the dishes I particular enjoyed are "Salty fish with shreded pork in steam" and "Eel fillet with honey source"
Speaking about handsome, I went to the Casino while my wife went to Lundy Lane for shopping. While I went thru the security check, they ask for my ID? Oh, I feel so young. Although that doesn't help me to bring any luck on my 5 cent slot machine or Sic Bo.
regarding the metro zoo for this sunday - i don't think i will visit. only $5 off, if $5 per person, i will think about it . sunday is usually my resting day (all day home).
On Saturday, we had our carpet replaced, but the contractor's workmanship is so bad!! They came again to fix the problems, but still not fixed all and they said they are fixed. :-x
They even wore shoes when they worked on our new carpet!! Some of the steps are dirty now. Do you think that we should get compensation?
