I plan to contact the agent in September. Thinking the maid should come on Jan. But having seen all your comment, I think I will consider having the maid arrived in mid Dec.

actually i'm not working now. (i was sacked out one month ago) life is not very stressful, only got average housework to manage. but just dunno why i have those brownish discharge occasionally... i am trying to take more bedrest now, hope it helps...

i want to find someone to help during the confinement month too. i dont know anyone who works as 'pui-yuet', but i think i will contact some retired amah (i worked in hospital before) to help. my friend has this experience before and she said the amah worked so well to her and her bb. maybe you can try to contact the mothers of your friends, or friends of your parents, something like that, see if they know someone doing this...
