醫生，唔好意思我又有問題想問? 女兒出院回家後已退燒，由25.4.2007發燒,至2.5.2007出院,這两天很多痰,2/5多數由鼻流出黄色杰的,4/5晚上咳出很多黄色痰,昨晚整晚咳不停,但日間又很小咳,現想問她是好轉中,還是惡化了呢,我有沒有須要帶他去看医生呢?
以下的藥物:
1) TAMIFLU(osel tamivir) 每天二次,每次2.5毫升
己吃完5天,停了
因為1/5吃完以下的藥,小女手脚凍及出汗,我自行減為2.5ml
2)P.E.C.SYR (PHENSEDYL) 每天三次,每次5毫升.
3)MUCOSPECT PAED SYR (RHINATHIOL)每天三次,每次
5毫升
4)UNI-RAMINE 2MG/5ML SYR PIRITON
每天三次,每次5毫升
醫生我是否做得錯了,所以小女咳得嚴重了,請問我應該怎樣呢?

Ans.: It's OK for your decision. Tamiflu is not a must. Night symptoms is probably bronchal allergy/wheezy bronchitis. I think she needs some bronchodilator to widen a bit the constricted air-pipe. Go back to doctor again la~

Ans.: To be honous, I do not believe using pacifier or sucking thumb is a problem in teeth grow. I have many patients growing up with normal teeth despite using pacifier or sucking thumb, including my kids. Sometimes, doctors are over-confident, and if we hypothesied something and keep on explaning symptoms and signs with it many times then, we shall beleive it as fact ourselves.

原來有好多小朋友都有咁既情況，如果好似我咁，好早帶小朋友去睇牙醫，就可以早d知道。
另外，個牙醫亦都教左我點同小朋友護理牙齒，原來開頭用brush 去做teeth brushing係訓係度做既等‥同埋，bb 1歲半就要開始做牙齒檢查，等bb習慣唔怕之外，有問題都可以早d知，咁以後佢地去睇牙都唔係慘事啦。

順帶一讚，個牙醫同護士都好細心 &愛心，explain好詳細，唔怪得之咁多小朋友睇佢啦。

This is the first time I write here, thanks very much in advance for your professional advise.

My son (2.5 yrs) started to cough and have a running nose (transparent liquid) since 1st May, he went to see a doctor and the followings are the prescriptions, each 5cc, 4 hours once
1. Promethazine syrup (for nose)
2. Solvon Syr (for cough)
3. Eurocillana Syrup (for cough)
4. Anvelin Syrup (for cough)
After the medication, it seems that his cough is getting better a bit, but since last mid-nite (6 May), he started to have fever and reached up to 39F + . He has taken Christamol 250 mg for 4 times and the temp still didn't go down.

So today (as it it Sunday afternoon), we went to see another doctor which have the following precriptions, each 5cc, 6 hrs once
1 Panadol (4 hrs once)
2 BPP (for cold)
3 Bricanyl Exp (for cough)
4 Dicloten supp 12.5mg
5. Castal 250mg

Question 1. No 5 is a antibotics, is it necessary for my boy? How long is the course usually? If we once started (intake once) but the temp goes to normal, shall I stop it? Is antibotics necessary for toddler?

Question 2. As my boy have taken the first doctor medicines for some time (more than 6 months), is the medicine still work on him? will he get used to the medicine and become less efficient?

Question 3. I gave him No 4 once and after 2 hrs, I gave him Panadol, will it be overdose?

Ans.: It's hard to asnwer without seeing the patient. But statistically, kids with fever have much higher chance(~70%) is having bacterial infection that need antibiotics. So, if I say yse, I will get 70 marks.
How long is the course usually?
Ans.: At least 5 days.
If we once started (intake once) but the temp goes to normal, shall I stop it?
Ans.; N, you should continue and finish the whole course.
Is antibotics necessary for toddler?
Ans.: Not always, but according to the clinical judgement that needs experience, signs ands symptoms available and the environmental factors.

Question 2. As my boy have taken the first doctor medicines for some time (more than 6 months), is the medicine still work on him?
Ans.: Usually OK.
will he get used to the medicine and become less efficient?
Ans.: Possible (Tachyphylaxis), but usually not.

Question 3. I gave him No 4 once and after 2 hrs, I gave him Panadol, will it be overdose?
Ans.: No, not a problem. #4 is diclofenic acid 12.5mg. It's not in the same class of panadol.

我bb現在4個多月大,自3個星期前開始唔係好肯食奶,從以前食5安奶(都已經唔係多)減到只肯食3-4安,近呢個星期更誇張,比個奶咀放到埋個口已經喊定先, 氹好耐先食少少,結果成6個鐘先食得2-3安奶,比水亦唔飲,連個肚仔都瘦到平左,所以尋日帶佢睇醫生,醫生比左以下藥:

VITACYMIN + C.H (開胃藥)
每次2.5ml 早晚各一次
BIOFERMIN (肚風,化胃氣)
每次一粒每隔6HRS一日三次

1)醫生檢查過身體無問題,只係話佢生長速度減慢,
所以唔需要食咁多,但係無理由6個鐘先食得2-3安奶,
差唔多絕食咁滯!!! 究竟點解bb越食越少?

2)食左藥之後今日每餐肯食番4安奶, 開胃藥其實係d咩黎?
作用為何? 點解食左真係會開胃d?

3)醫生開左7日藥,好唔好食晒7日? 呢d藥會唔會令bb做成依賴?

4)如果7日後無晒藥又變番無胃口咁點算?

5)我從另一個討論區知道有隻叫"

ENTAMIN"嘅VITAMIN水, 都係可以令啲BB食左開胃啲. 呢隻又係咩黎呢? 我知道有D媽咪就咁自己買黎餵比BB食,有問題嗎?

Dr Yonex,
亞仔呢個星期開始完全唔肯食奶(10個月),唔知咩原因, 一見倒支奶就推開, 就算肯食之後隔一陣又嘔返出來, 佢arm arm一個月前先開始出牙仔,會否現在才影響食欲呢

07:00---120~140ml 奶(呢個week都唔肯食)
11:00---1碗爛飯仔
14:00---140~160ml奶(呢個week只食倒2~3安左右)
18:00---1碗爛飯仔
22:00---160~180ml奶(呢個week只食2~3安左右)

請問以上食野的時間有無問題呢

多謝你的解答. 我想問吓手足口病是否真的無藥食? 因小女完全食唔到嘢,連奶都唔肯飲, 我好擔心會否身體支持唔住. 我唔知應否轉醫生, 因之前個醫生只有止痛藥給她飲. 還有口腔內的痱滋要多少日才痊癒, 塗痱滋水有用嗎? 唔該晒.
