As you mentioned before, you drive 15 mins per week, that means your battery has never been fully charged. If you drive it 3 hours on the highway today, then I am sure your Echo can also park for 6 weeks and with no problem with restarting.
If you keep on driving your car 15 mins per week, no matter what kind of car you will buy, the battery won't last long. It's the battery doesn't fit your driving habbit, not your car.
