Yes, I just change to a full time mum job for 2 mths, although I'm busy to take care of my son everyday, am still feel boring as not many friend in UK. So I enjoy to chat with all of you in this forum.
Of course, I will let you know if I back to HK, thanks!
You must good take care of yourself Enjoy your "Break" gathering!
"Dim Sum" are not too bad in London, maybe some of chinese restaurant's owner is from HK people. I tried "wang ton mein" at one shop called "wong kay" which is very very bad, no shrimp in "wang ton", also noodles are very hard, cannot eat! I bought "pao law bao" at once, it's very harddddd! Seems it's baked a few days ago!
I think I better try to have a "fish & chips" which is very famous in UK. Or India food!
Yeah, don't forget to ask me to enjoy tasteful food in HK, yummy!
Well, I just been here 2mths, so still adjusting my new life, like a find more chinese restaurants, chinese food shops, meet some friends etc...
Sometimes, I really feel exhausted to take care of my son. Still not enjoy it yet! ?-(
Do you have any relatives live in UK? If not, you will feel so bored. Actually, I quite like the lifestyle in Europe. The pace is quite slow and relax.
Pls try to join some communities and make more friends if possible.
I have no any relatives (my family side) are living in UK. I can contact my hubby's family whom they're all living in UK. Our relationship is quite good, but unlucky that their places are very far away from us. So we do make some calls very often. Right, I always say "very boring"!
I don't feel enjoy this lifestyle yet, or soon more later I will! ?-( I'm sure I do miss HK very very much! Nothing is better than HK right now!
I try very hard to widen my circle, hope I can meet some friends very soon.
BTW, thanks for your caring! Have you been Europe before? If yes, how's your experience? I had travelled a few countries in Europe since few year ago, I like Europe at that moment because I was a tourist. I went to all the places were tourist area; beautiful of sightseeing, some landmarks, etc. You can't image there is totally different if you living there. I know HK also have many disadvantage too, but most important I lived in there many many years, I fully adapted that lifestyle already!
I've been Europe a few years ago. You are right that it is quite different if you are living there. However, you should try your best to adapt your new life in there.
