two ways for your son to become citizen.
1. wait until he growth up, he can go and do his naturalization by himself
2. you go thru the naturalization, any of you, you or your husband, then, he will become citizen because your child is on behalf of your naturalization.

hi, i want to ask something about 入籍。我老公stay in usa will be 5 yrs in july.should he apply now? someone say he should apply it few month earlier than he doesnot need to wait that long. and the other thing is how much Tax he should pay? we still have 2 kids who were bored in usa, but i still keep hk visa over stay here, i am waiting he to be a citizen then apply me and then i can go back to hk. i miss hk for 5 yrs

I think that you son has to take exam for naturalization. My brother came over before he turned 18 and he applied for naturalization, passed the exam and became a citizen.

你先生可以喺夠５年之前幾個月入紙，一般都要排成半年先考試，考到就會通知佢幾時去宣誓，正式成為citizen. 稅方面，你先生呢５年有冇報稅，如果有唔會同揸綠卡有分別，如果冇，點解唔報，就算唔駛交稅都要報，因為咁政府先有佢工作紀錄，要有最少１０年工作報稅紀錄先可以第時領social security benefits. 點解你先生冇入紙ａｐｐｌｙ你？咁你呢５年點留低架？你有冇綠卡，如果有，你隨時都可以返香港，只係最好唔好長住，每５個月２９日就要返嚟一次．如果你有綠卡，你自己都可以考入籍，唔駛等你先生成為citizen先，你要成為citizen,你都要考試先得，你兩個仔仔喺美國出世，自動成為US citizens.

你老公揸嘅係咪緣咭?係 re-union/ refugee/ job related?
你又係乜嘢身份入境?
住邊個state? 有冇工作? 工作幾耐? 有冇資產?
better to figure all that out.. then we can help
my memory will be quite fresh.. as I just become citizen at feb 13 this year

hi, thank u for ur replying.
my hobby has green card, we has 報稅for 2 yrs together, this yr will be the third yr.04 i came to usa as a vistor, the 05 come back i have c9 because i applied special worker in usa.i surpose to leave usa in march 06,but i stay untill now.if i go back to hk, i could not come back untill i get green card. someone said because i have hk passport i can wait and chang my 身分in usa. but i think even when my hobby be a citizen i need a layer for my application.

當你先生申請入籍時, 只要提供最近3年稅單, 入籍官唔係睇你嘅報稅收入, 而係睇你有冇講大話, 提供假資料, 隱藏住真實收入, "不成實的人格" ---係中國人被拒成為公民嘅其中一個原因.
我係base on marriage 但老公冇陪我interview, 入籍官咪想盡辦法留難.. 又要地契又要人壽保儉, 車同屋保儉, 又要我個工作證(ID patch), 我連自己個咭片都俾埋佢file.

你個case, 老公一攞green card, 做乜唔file 你...? greencard holder申請配偶as 你係合法入境呢?
finally, 你仲未提到你老公點攞到呢張greencard?

that is good. so, when he got his green card on his 4years 9 months time, he can go to uscis website, download the N-400 and fill it by himself.
for your application, I would suggest that you have a lawyer to follow up. you can do it yourself, but to have a lawyer, can help to stop you giving the wrong or not appropiate answer to the immigration officer.

for reunion, he can submit his application since he has green card 4 years 9 months.
so he can write down 4 years 9 months.

also, if he is going to submit the I-130 for you when he becomes citizen. he has to submit I485 生活担保.. that is the one that he must show he can support your life expense and your children expense. he better to pay all income tax from this year. they will ask you to show evidence.

also, to make sure that he has continuous living in US for 30 months, and never left US for more than 5 months 29days in 1 time.
never have any violation from law.

各位想請教一個問題, 我依家申請緊k1 visa, 下個月會去body check, 我搵返我所有既針card出黎, 依家有以下既問題:

1) 出世既時候打過MMR, 對上一次打加強劑已經係12年前, 咁我仲需唔需要補打多一次加強劑呢?

2) 出世既時候打過TD, 對上一次打加強劑已經係16年前, 咁我又需唔需要補打多一次加強劑呢?

3) 如果我自己係家庭醫生到打左先, 咁個針CARD (中英文對照)承認嗎?

4) 我出左水豆, 不過冇野可以証明到,咁點算呢?

5) 仲有冇咩針我係需要打定呢? (五年前打過Hepatitis A+B, b型上個月打左加強劑. 依家打左兩針HPV, 等緊五月打第三針同埋上年十一月打左流感針)
