嘻嘻... 咁我又唔係話何醫生係衰人.. 不過佢個presentation...真係嚇死人呀.... 佢真係講"佢會死".. 可能我睇電視多, 醫生應該yi yi or or話"佢可能唔係...咁樂觀..."咁嫁嘛... anyway, 何醫生又真係好快咁同bb做好多檢查... xray/ultrasound/contact QM/轉antibiotics... :>

見到你識得講笑, 應該心情好番好多, bb 進展應該唔錯, 係咪?

東區醫院同威爾斯都有 gathering, 我聽講 QM 都有, 但係 QE 就咩都冇呀. 好多時我都要靠喺呢個網站得到多 d 資訊同建議, 如果唔係就咩都唔知架啦.

我心情今日又俾bb牽引住喇....

今日醫生話佢腦出血, grade 3.... 出世頭幾日都係grade 1-2... 今日都係十七日人仔lu...唉, 即刻down晒... 好擔心... 雖然話唔一定有事, 但係始終係一個未知之數...

真係做人父母個個都望孩子健健康康, prem 豬媽條路好鬼難行...

我都無人invite join gathering, 我估係要bb出院個時先會有人叫我join member...

呢度留過言既媽咪, bb未出院時都經歷過好似坐過山車既心情, 而我都唔例外! 其實一個bb既出世, 佢既發展同埋其他野都係一個未知數, 只不過我地果個係早產b, 一開始條路係比人地難行, 但唔代表行唔到! 我地做父母既, 只有從旁鼓勵及加以協助, 咁對bb已經係最好.

講樣野比大家知, 我同事個老公都係早產bb, 但佢從小讀書好叻, 依家已經係一位博士, 係大學教書!

When i was in the hosp, a mother with his son came to visit us to encourage our crying mommies.. his son was a 25 wker and had a grade 3 bleed n had an operation. He is now 5 yrs old and his mother said his size and development is normal. He was playing his NSD when I saw him.

I also met a mommy and her daughter is a 24 wker and had a grade 4 bleed with operation. She is now 8 mths old (adjusted age) and her mother said she is catching up quite well. She is now 18 pounds (heavier than my son!!)

Don't be discourage!! You'll expect their recovery is like a roller-coaster ride. However, these babies are strong warriors and their development is really unpredictable. +oil+oil!!

好多謝你地既鼓勵, 我睇到kalau留言又再一次鼓舞起來, 我要振作!!
今日我等埋bb照ultrasound 先走, 醫生話個d係舊血, 係之前發生既, 唔係新bleeding... (即刻鬆一口氣)
但係d腦水有d漲, 其實我都唔係好知佢講乜, 腦結構真係好複雜... 總之話要keep monitoring, 唔會俾藥
我同bb講, 你要叻叻, 最難最辛苦個關你已經過左, 你要話俾醫生知你係grade 2, 跟住grade 1...
我真係好愛我bb, 佢係因為唔要我傷心先咁努力, 佢真係大丈夫, 我好愛佢, 無論點我都會支時佢

My baby also has grade 3 bleeding, but eventually resolved, but at 4 months old, he suddenly has grade one again...but dr told me not to worry. I also asked a few other doctors/neurologists, they all said it's very common for prem babies to have brain bleeding.

I met with a friend of my friend because of this. He's over 30 years old. He was a premature baby 30 years ago, had 腦積水, had operations on his brain to drain out the fluid. Now he's completely normal, big and healthy. Graduated from one of the top schools in HK!

My other friend also told me that one of the 10A student at one of the St Pauls schools also once had 腦積水. And he was a 10A student!!

Actually, for my bb's case, it's more serious than the brain bleeding. He was found to have a very big 水囊 on his brain, size 大過一隻雞蛋. e生話佢曾經腦部缺氧所以部份腦細胞壞死, 唔再生長, 所以腦水填補個空位形成水囊, 至於對佢日後有乜影響仍然未知.

你有無聽過類似既case 呢?

好耐沒上來.

Just want to encourage all moms here. My boy is pre-mat, one of the twins who is alive and is now nearly 4. He was born in 32 weeks and stayed one month in icu before discharged. Of course we have overcame and gone through some of the medical difficulties and problems like yours. Now he is overall okay, he is going to promote to K2 in the coming Sept. Except he is always allegic in respectory system, weaker in health, the shortest in the class, guess he is also the thinnest (around 30 pounds) , in class, eat very less & slow, motor skills and social skills are a bit lag behind ...

Yes, all pre-mat moms and childrens have to walk thru/ a different and toughest road other than others, but I think this will lead us to a closer and warmer relationship.

Keep up all moms, don't give up, you are the only one that could cheer your child up. don't let him/her alone.

I'm not sure if the same case or not. The 24 wker baby girl I know also have 腦積水 n operation to put in a tube to drain out the fluid. Her mommy said she is doing great although dr said still have extra fluid in the head n just need to observe.

For my BB, he is a big head BB and the dr. also said he has too much fluid in his head, however, a senior dr. told me it is very common in preemies and it'll usually go away when his brain grows better. For now, we just observe and see if anything wrong and if he can catch up.

Anyhow, I think most preemies are a bit slow to catch up at the beginning.. we just have to be patient n spend more time to teach them. They'll surprise you suddenly in their developments!

One of the first thing the doc said to me after the baby was born so early was some of these preemies have very high IQ as seen in some of the genius in the world!

It is something we can all hope for at the bottom of our hearts. Wishing all BB's are healthy and smart la!!

bb之前轉左氧氣喉幾日, 但昨日醫生見佢好似有d辛苦, 所以轉番infant flow俾佢... bb好忟呀, 無時停, 想整甩d喉同線, mon心跳個tape都俾佢整甩左兩次, 見佢咁忟, 好心痛...
我老公話, 其實都係一個good sign, 因為佢知唔舒服, 郁手郁腳証明佢有energy...
但係見到bb咁忟, 我真係好肉痛... 我輕拍同捉住佢隻手都係咁郁...好淒涼
呢d心掛掛既日子好難過呀...

Your baby really looks very energetic!! Don't give up and be brave always! Your baby will feel that and know that!

In here we have different stage mom that could share your worries. Your story is very common to preemies. I was as worry as you when my bb was in ICU and no mood to have "1 month celebration". My baby stayed in hospital and even take an operation 小腸氣 before discharge. However all the things are overcomed by himself! He is so brave in my heart!

When doc said he may face many problems after give birth, I didn't have any feeling as I BELIEVE my baby can do the best and will 無事出院. This is my only faith to my son and alreaday become true. So agnes, your baby is also can overcome all the things, believe in him!!!!

我仔同你仔一棣都係最矮同瘦in the class. 上次去新學校註冊老師不信佢係學生! 我仔食量正常, 咩野都食好似大人咁, 大小肌肉就lag behind. 好彩已經識講好多野, 好似大人講野咁又唔怕羞. 昨日先同佢講上taxi要同司機叔叔講去邊, 咁上車就提佢講, 佢可以好大聲講比人知, 真係一d都唔怕羞. 有陌生人問佢幾歲, 佢可以答: "我2歲半 (舉起2隻手指), 不過就來3歲!"

我仔雖然各方面發展都唔係好好, 但我覺得我仔已經做到我心目中最好, 我覺得佢真係叻仔

我真係好認同, 喺我哋心中, 我哋的寶貝仔女都係好叻好叻架! 就算係大人, 都會怕痛怕辛苦, 但我哋的寶寶喺醫院過完一關又一關, 返到屋企又不斷努力, 不斷學習, 唔會嫌辛苦, 佢哋真係我哋的驕傲! 我成日都同熊仔仔講, 你係媽咪的寶寶, 媽咪錫哂你!

熊仔仔都係細細粒粒, 不過好鍾意食嘢, 俾佢見到大人有嘢食佢一定會撲過嚟問你要. 朋友同我講, 最緊要食得, 又有人安慰我 "有骨唔怕冇肉" (其實我唔知咩意思), 所以我相信亦好期待佢突然間有一日會大大隻隻, 細個食的嘢終於爆發出力量!
