haha...thank you thank you~~~ the size of JOB MARKET is about the same as RECRUIT ga..not a newspaper... :-P $3 only~~~ :-P
A female doctor called Joan Wu (Ng Tung) did that for me, because the package I chose could not assign doctors (if we have to specify doctors, then have to pay more), so by random I met Dr Wu, she is very very nice..
No ar...no worry at all, the whole process took only about half an hour, and I could see quite clearly immediately after the surgery - but of course the doctor will advise me not to "use" my eyes so much immediately la..
So I went home immediately after the surgery (about 7pm) and went to bed immediately (I remembered that is a Friday something, i.e. no need to work the other day, so I could have enough rest.
Mike:
I don't need to "close" my eyes with the shields for very long ga ja....if I stayed at home by that time, even don;t need to wear that tim ar...just take care not to let the dust get in so easily...
Let me explain more to you ladies about the process in detail during lunch ar...
I remembered in the lasik talk, the doctor said short-sighted eyes with 800 degrees+ is classified as "deep" short-sight (SS) and those below 800 degrees are "light" short sight.
The success rate (0 degree) for light SS eyes is higher than deep SS, so like me, I may be able to get 0 or just 10 degrees, but for those with 800+ may still got 50 degrees etc..yet it won't affect your sight too much, 50 degrees doesn't require glasses la...
However, of course, cases may vary because all our eyes are different, so this is only a general trend.
Most of the doctors did not do the lasik not only becasue they need 100% good eye sight, but also we have to admit there every surgery brings RISKS, though there are a lot of success records for lasik, yet nothing could be 100% guaranteed, so unless they really need that very very much, otherwise, they won't prefer to cut their eyes in exchange for "convenience" in future.
So that's purely a personal choice.
Do ask if I could share more info with you ladies~~
