ar, two questions ... please help:

my OB/GYN is affiliated with Beth Israel, do i have to contact Beth Israel for letting them know my pregnancy or my doctor's office will arrange everything in Beth Israel for me?

recently, i feel more headache and stuffy nose ... sneezing as well ... i told my OB/GYN and he said probably it's allergy, but he didn't give me medicine ... i am now in my 13-week pregnancy, am i OK?

Yes, I agree with you. We waited a little too long to have the second kid. They are 4 years and 3 months apart.
Yes, Marcus will go to pre-school after summer. I haven't decided on the school yet. Not sure if we want to pick the school closer to work or home.
We always go to different places...like SF, Penisula, South Bay...
Are you near Thunder Valley Casino? My in-laws like to go there for a day trip.

Nice to meet you! I'm Meeemeee. I have 2 kids and live in San Ramon with my family.
Registration begins every March. You may want to check with specific school for more info. Sometimes, classes do fill up easily.
Good luck on getting the driver license!

Hello AKW,
I just learned that you play piano as I was reading the previous messages. My daughter turned 7 in Dec. She's interested in learning violin but it's hard to find a instructor close to where we live. I kept asking her to see if she's interested in piano. She refuses me everytime I ask her. Pls give me your professional opinion. Is it better to learn piano first? Piano is very very common, almost every Chinese kid that I know are learning it. My idea is to let my daughter picks whatever she's interested in learning.

i just reach 35, so my husband and i decided to take the test for making sure. and, miscarriage is like 0.5-1% risk.

you just need to rest the day you finish the test, don't life heavy stuff, bedrest more...2nd day you can just be normal as usual....but i took a day off for the second day, my husband didn't allow me to work ar....i think your OB will tell about this...and my amnio test result came out good, i was so relieved ^_^
also, i'm going to deliver at beth israel too....for my first time, i went to downtown hospital, and i don't worry that i can't get there on time, because u can feel the pain and have enough time to inform your OB...last time my pain lasted 1 nite and then i went to OB and my OB said wait till my pain is more frequent, then i waited for 12 hrs, and went to hospital at midnite ar, and bb came out the other morning....i even had time to pack up and shower at home...
if you are really afraid that you can't get to hospital on time, you can choose queens hospital, flushing have many OB...i heard queens hospital is not bad too, after i chose beth israel

thank you very much for your information. i will probably stay home for the whole weekend, as the test will be done on a Friday. hope the result will be a good one =) ... by the way, is the amnio test covered by insurance?

since i am now seeing the OB in his own clinic, do i need to register at Beth Israel myself or the clinic will do it for me? this is my first pregnancy and i don't know what i need to do.

Don’t worry too much about Corey la. He is still under 2. Even though he doesn’t talk much, he seems understand a lot right?! He can hold Sai Sai hand to play. You can’t imagine how much he knows lei..hehe. Sure, we can get together more often as I love Sai Sai to have regular playmates too. I am busy at cleaning and pack up stuffs in my apartment in these couple weeks. (I have to do that as My hubby complained it is too much stuffs everywhere la

Hi Jstn,

Hello. I also saw Dr. Wan when I had Sai Sai. He is ok but I wish he could spend more time on my visits lor. (There were so many many patients at that time but I heard the situation is better now.) Anyway, you don’t have to worry about the hospital stuffs. The nurse in Dr. Wan office will give you a form to fill for the hospital. You only need to bring the copy of that form when you go for the delivery. Besides, there will be a 1 day class held on Dr. Wan office for the first time mommy. At the end, they will let you know which day for the hospital tour. Remember to estimate how much time to take from your place to the Beth Israel. Anyway, hope this help. Good Luck!
