check多幾間大小Agents，問Agent多D問題、邊間答得頭頭是道而價錢合理即可，而搵適合人選就要睇多D工人或Files先好決定。

Hi ansonbb,

IS this the Labour rule to give the maid "Meal and travelling" when she finished contract and back home ? How much for the allowance per day ? Do I have to pay her the allowance even she live in Jarakta and I have bought her ticket to Jarakata already ?

ANS: Yes, it is in the Labour Law that employer have to also pay for the food and travelling allowance to return to her place of origin including the local transport fare.

My maid will leave my home on 30 Apr. How much I have to pay for finished contract ?

1. Apr's salary (1 month)
2. 14 days unused annual leave
3. Air ticket
4. Meal and travelling allowance (must ??? ANS: YES)

Since my maid is finished contract, do I have to pay the salary upto May 14 (include Apr salary + 2 weeks unused annual leave) or just pay till Apr 30 ?

ANS: Her salary will be paid until April 30 + 14 days annual leave in cash.

Hi ivyscyip,

I have just renewed my contract with my Filipino maid. She does not want to go back to the Philippines this time, which is good given that i am about to give birth. Thus, I have the following questions

(1) For the airplane ticket that we owed her (round trip - flight back for the first contract and the flight in for the 2nd contract), do I pay her in cash? about how much?

ANS: Since she is not going back and will continue her contract, you don't need to pay or buy her the ticket immediately. Afterall, she will still need to exit Hong Kong one year after her second contract term with you. Till then you can buy the ticket for her. You have to check with travel agent for domestic helper ticket fare price.

(2) For the 2 weeks holidays that we owed her for the first contract, do I just carry that over to the next contract, or do I pay her in cash instead?

ANS: You should clear her first contract leave and pay her in cash.

(3) I believe that she has to leave HK within this year (as the visa will be only a year) and then re-enter. If I go with her to China around x'mas, will they restamp the visa until the expiration of the 2nd contract?

ANS: The requirement by Immigration is to exit Hong Kong territory, they did not state exit to which country.

Dear Mrs. Rose:

I direct hire a philippino maid. The VISA for her has just been approved, however she has to re-take her urine test. The agent told me I shouldn't worry about it as the philippino normally would pass the test. I asked the agent what was wrong with her, they said it may be due to stone or 尿酸, but as long as she drinks more water, it should be okay, plus the agent said you could still let her come even with the urine test failed. My questions are:

1. If her urine test is passed this time, should I still have to re-consider if I should let her come to HK?

2. IF her urine test is failed again, she may need to take another 3weeks or 1 month course of medicines, the question is again if failing urine test is a big issue that affect her health and hence her work capability?

我炒咗個賓大約1個月,但最近開始收到d電話單,財務公司追數信,我估佢所有嘢都係我炒佢後嗰14日寛限期做,請問我依家可以點做.

1) 請問resign letter 用印文定我作中文比佢簽? 還是去番agent? 因我呢兩日無時間同佢去 agent, 到時可否
back date 番佢口頭通知果日 ?

2) 佢想喺agent處取回passport, 有無問題. 係咪要黎搵新工? 定係要佢離職後先揾工?

3) 機票係咪由我安排? 定比$ 佢自己攪?

(1) 如我想我的工人, 每天將bb帶到另一個地方 (我娘家) 照顧BB, 兼煮飯給我的爸媽吃 (或做其他家務), 晚上再將bb放回我家, 那是否己違法?

(2) 如我的工人在我家照顧bb, 每天我的爸媽來我家, 工人替爸媽煮午飯, 買餸 (但我們不在) 那又是否可以?

可否代工人去入境事務署，因唔想俾入息証明佢，有咩文件要預備？

May I know any minimum requirement for the 我家屋企 size if I want to employ 印印? E.g. total 4 member (one 3-yr-old boy included), will require min for 屋企 size ?

我工人走左路, 幾日後去agent到要我比機票, 出糧, 我比左, 佢有簽收, 番左印尼四個月, 依家番黎告我, underpaid, no hoilday, no one month notice. 佢有寄口供紙比我, 佢唯一證據係一張借貸月結單, 我想知這張單與我有估關係, 我可否pm電話no比你, 因為未上庭, 唔想張case供開

Sorry for late reply because I'm out of town just back last night.

Actually urine infection is very common in their territory, no big deal, of course she can come for work.

Normally after the medication will be OK, if she failed again then she may not having urine infection, you need to re-consider should let her come or not.

立刻通知電話及財務公司，工人已炒請他們不要騷擾你，請記底佢個名及電話如再騷擾你即報警。請勿逃避及無需代付款。

ANS:用印尼文及中文，去agent攪最好，如工人同意back date當然無問題。

ANS: 取回passport法例上絕對無問題，但agent唔知會唔會咁順攤肯俾返佢! Passport取回後可能搵新工，更有可能會走路! 佢可以係假期搵新工，而你無權要求佢離職後先揾工架。

3) 機票係咪由我安排? 定比$ 佢自己攪?

ANS: 全都可以隨你。

ANS:係違法，但你可用爸媽地址請工人，而晚上只將bb帶回你家，不帶工人就不違法。

(2) 如我的工人在我家照顧bb, 每天我的爸媽來我家, 工人替爸媽煮午飯, 買餸 (但我們不在) 那又是否可以?

ANS: 做法絕對正確，合法。
