about the kindergarten, what is your plan now ?
actually you should have a clear picture in your
mind, what do you want your baby have ? what do you
expect the kindergarten? high
academic ? stict discipline? traditional teaching
method ?
if you are looking for one-dragon school, there are
very few choices, there are only Pui Ching, Mansung,
which Ho Lam still can be qualified for age, because they
only accept big boy. However, do aware that they are in
mainly chinese language teaching, so if you are looking
for good English, they are not the choices.
you should determine which kind of primary schools you
are looking for? as it has the relationship if you
select kindergartens; if you are fine with the existing
education system, the lucky draw games for primary schools,
it is fine that you do not care what kind of kindergartens
Ho Lam will study . However, if unluckily he cannot enter
good primary during the lucky draw, then it is a bit
difficult to "knock" the door of better primary schools
or good private/DS primary if he is not from very famous
kindergatens.
i called Keen Ming this morning to reconfirm that
we will go on 7/09, however, the lady said it is full
as a lot of parents already made appointment, which they
didn't ask me to make appointment... so we cannot go to
Keen Ming on 7/09.
we only visit Pre-school, pls mark your record.
the only availability is 7/23 in Keen Ming, i think
we can still visit it.
let me remind you all, if you would consider those kindergartens- preschool and keen ming, you can bring along with your baby's birth cert copy, photos and related docus , so that we can apply immediately, without sending letters, so as to save cost.
have checked with pre-school about the school bus,
the school fee is 850. and the lady said if their existing bus cannot offer the drop point for my home, they will offer thier partnership. but it is a bit expensive comparing with Keen Ming and St.Cat, ..
i will apply both kindergartens as back up, comparing two, 1st choice is Pre-school.
