do you think larry can manage on his own?

Amelia was ok at school except she didn't speak loudly... only listened and played and actioned, i.e. she will do what the teacher said but doesn't respond loudly.
I think she should be ok alone coz she didn't wait for me after music class and ran straight into the classroom

It was amelia's first day at school yesterday too, my hb & I accompanied her to school... although I'm still 坐月 but I don't want to miss the moment! All the kids had their parents so I was glad of my decision.
My hb took videos & stood outside of the classroom and watched us, although it was only 1 hr but I felt tired and a little dizzy... Amelia liked the school a lot, no wonder, they played for a while then music class then tea time and played again and that was it! It was good fun compared to staying at home la.
Class was over very quickly and I took one hr nap afterwards at home. I don't think I was in shape at all~ NOW I know why we need to 坐月.

Today is the 2nd day and my mum took her to school.

Amelia is such a quiet girl. Larry is more or less the same, not very active, won't speak loudly, but observe and obey - kinda good student (in old fashion).

He can stay for an hour or 2 in Sunday school on his own, so staying is not an issue (I hope) for him. But he has difficulty to say goodbye and go home when school life is so enjoyable if I am fetching him home. So later on the arrangement will be I am the one sending him to school (except when I am 坐月) and hb fetching him.

You did a right thing in not missing the first day of school. It's an important and memorable moment for both of you.

可能一方面係試下d家長有幾認真同投入子女既校園生活，尋日好努力咁裁咗條超簡單既短褲，一開機去車，就有個人嚇到喊，結果只係手縫咗條尾，今晚試下叫老公捉個無膽仔入房聽CD，或者播下芝麻街等佢分下心，睇下可唔可以車埋條褲仔，應該都趕唔切整上衣。

rafael started school on monday too and mac and i took a week off to accompany him all week. it's really amazing to see him wearing uniform and going to school, particulary that he's so tiny in build you know.

and rafael is kinda like larry. quiet yet obeys, most of the time. he's the observer and listener kind, and sometimes very very timid. he even asks me to stop the hair dryer when i use it because of the loud sound. i reckon he'll be afraid of the sewing machine too.

My helper has tendered resignation. A new helper has just on duty. However, Aidan doesn't like new helper much. I will take a day off to accompany Aidan to school on 1 Sept. When the current helper leave my place in the early Sept, I will take few days annual leave to make sure everythings on track with new helper. Then my leave balance will turn to 0 for 2009.

How nice that you can take a week off and accompany Rafael to school, I wish I could do the same. But since I am on maternity leave very soon, there are piles of work waiting for me :-(

I will go tomorrow for sure, as it's the last day that parents can sit in with their children. And I can't wait to see a little tiger chasing his little tail (Yes, the tiger pants with tail have been done! and I will modify the head piece a bit - now is just a head band with ears, also will work on the top as well)

Larry was not that scared by the sewing machine last night, credit to my hb who hugged him and distracted him. Still, he's generally quite sentimental.

oh btw, rafael took the school bus by himself for the very first time today, from home to school and we're so proud that he didn't cry at all. he wanted me to hold him once he saw me at school though.

老虎的頭(用我的舊頭cool 加上虎紋布和耳朵)

老虎上衣和短褲(影唔到條尾，有啷啷架)，大家既學校如果要扮動物，可以問我借用
