wow you and Cissie kept talking while I was away! It is hard to catch up posts u know! I don't think Siu Wa was/is boyish la, if u see how kiyomi behaves, u will know what is boyish!!!!
Kiyomi likes to play with boys, so she always likes to make friends with boys at school. I asked her if any boys said fancy her, she said no, they don't talk about this, they only talk about games! But other classmates had made fun of her saying she fancy x (cos she was very friend with x last year!) so I keep telling her to play with girls instead but she just not listened!
Will u try to put Siu Wa at a Girls' school when it comes to High school? My first choice to Kiyomi for High School is a Girls' high but as it is a popular school, I don't know if she can get in?! If not, she will attend a mixed gender high schools and I may get worried at that time?! Don't know la don't want to think too much now!

To be honest, I don't want them to have boyfriend/girlfriend before they go to Uni. Not only it will affect their study, I also worry about sex. Even Trevor, what if he makes a girl pregnant? he has to take the responsibility. That could make his life up side down.
In the other hand, if I put them into a single sex school. they have less opportunity to meet the opposite sex. then when Trevor sees a girl, he may become very shy, and since girls are not always can be seen, he may has extra interested in them. Could it make things worse??

But for girls, I know how is it like in a girls' school cos I was from a girls' high school myself. There are really much less opportunity to know bf and between classmates just talk about girls' talk. Now all my classmates from high school, they are all normal in social life and most of them have a family on their own. I think for a girl in a girls' school, it can delay their time to have bf?! And after high school, they can always meet their Mr right at Uni.

O, right! I forgot that you are from a girl's school. so did you feel too shy when you went to Uni and meet other boys classmates? From your experience, if you think it is good, then it should be good. I trust you as you experienced it.
Talking back about ours little girls, since there is no 11+ in your area, does Kiyomi need to take an entrance test for the girl's high school?

For me I didn't feel shy when I was at Uni to see other boys classmates cos at that time I already had a bf (my husband), so i would not think of romance when I saw other boys. So if I just treated the other boys' classmates as a normal classmates, I would not feel shy at all. (I met my hubby after I finished F.5 and we were mature so it didn't affect our studies).
For the girls' high, I heard that there is an entrance test, they will get about x% (not sure) of students from the test, the then rest of the places, u can apply it just like a community school. (It is a foundation school and so they have their own criteria of getting students). As it is very popular, I don't know if Kiyomi has a chance ga?!
Actually there is another popular school in our town, this one is mixed gender and is specialised on languages. I heard this one is very difficult to get in. But I doubt it why it is so popular though their results are very good?! But they are using IB instead of A-level, so I don't know if it is good?! But this one is the most popular school in this town.
What about your plan to Trevor's high school? I think he is so smart, he should be okay at 11+ la.

Trevor's plan is same as Irene's plan.
There is a school nearby called George abbot (maybe wrong spelling) it is very popular, and the ofted gave it grade 1 in most of the area. I haven't been to this school yet, I just heard it from other parents and found information from internet. this one seems the best school in our area.

At least, you moved into a good school area la. Surrey's school are good too, so Ho Ma also no worries.

na..she's isnt attractive...but dont u think kids like that? always say o he fancies her, she fancies him such things... we've been thru this as well... u know what did the boy ans siuwa why he love her... coz he said he likes chinese food sth like this...haha! just a laugh!! u know, i asked hoba the same questions what does he think about this.. he feels happy wor..haha, he said at least someone likes her so she isnt that bad lor... for me.. i dont think anything coz all kids like that..and i told myself i cant react anything spcl to her... otherwise she wont tell anything to me again... b4, she told me her fds playing kissing game to boys.. i really dont like it but i still need to pretend nothing, just asked her what do u think of this game? she told me she feels this game is a stupid game.. i just said yeah, i think so as well.....
Cissie, do u think it's the hardest topic for us ..not the homework stuff..is this kind of thing, when they become teenager, that's out of our control really... so we need to keep our open minded..

riko, siuwa likes playing boys games as well...she likes watching power rangers stuffs too..
umm... i never intend to think the sex of the school wor.. i just concerned if it's a good school or not! and the good grammer schools are normally only boys or girls school (not mixed), that's why i never consider this point. there are some grammer schools here but need to sit in exam as well.. it's very hard to get in as well.. so i think i need to push her once she's in y5 lor..

riko, how come u r double standard arh, haha! u know, i m worried my kids to be les/guy rather than they hv too many girl/boy fd.. u know i got some les fds that they were les since high school... so that's for life la...

I don't like the kissing games, either. I think it is a stupid game, too!!!! Yeah, I remember when I was at primary school, my classmates also liked to say who fancied who!! It is very childish! So I told Kiyomi if she keeps playing with boys only, the other children in the class will talk about her being fancy the boys. I just don't understand why she is so boyish?! As her mum was so girly when she was little!!!!
