BS,

the mangoes are sweet and tasty.... I add them to the jelly and pudding and have made 10 cups for last week and 8 cups for this week, still have 2 cups in my fridge for tonight

The mangoes are still sweet, I think that brand of mangoes is v good. But the standard in terms of both quality and size is going down already. May be coming near end of season la.

The mangoes LSW and I got on Sunday were smaller, and more ripe, than those I bought the previous week. And no more choice, only 1 box of L mangoes left both on Sunday and the previous Sunday. Where before, I still see 3-4-5-more boxes of L or even XL mangoes in the same shop.
Also, the shop has some Taiwan mangoes, but these are not as sweet as Philipino mangose.

I can only go to fruit market when my yanyan doesn't take leave on Sunday, otherwise nobody to pull the trolley. That is about alternate Sundays.

We don't keep the mangoes in the fridge, I think it's becos it releases some heat when it ripens, ==> the fridge becomes warm, not good for the fridge.
We just leave it in a box, somewhere on the floor or in a fruit plate. But in such hot weather, it ripens sooo fast. The ones I got on Sunday with LSW already becomes spotted (black-spots on the skin) and we have to eat them fast.

Now we have only 1 mango left.

But still some (~2 lbs) cherries from the week before. These we put in the fridge, ~2 lbs in each bag, and we open one bag, finish it before we touch the next bag. The cherries are still good and firm, not yet soft.

And we are also eating the Hami melon (the last one of 3 I bought 2 Sundays ago, grown in Hainan Island woh) - not sweet enough like those really growni n SinJiang, but v juicy.

I think we still have 2 water melons left, and some oranges. We all have a cup of orange juice every day.

1 box of oranges (72 pcs) can just last 1 week.

And Big Pig said maybe you buddies will

me if the fruit is not up to expectations woh, eg too ripe and goes bad too quickly.

So quite difficult to buy fruit for you if you don't show up at the fruit market and go with me on Sundays ga.

yes, the mangoes we bought at Sunday, some appears the blk spots even at Monday already, one of them was damage tim la. so we need to eat very fast. 3-4 pcs for whole family (Monday and Tuesday) and i gave 5pcs to my mother. Around 2pcs left for tonight.

RMM, why your mangoes can last for more than one week? The mangoes i bought at Sunday, already appears the blk spots and i need to put into fridge, if not, i think they will all turns blk when i go home after work. May be our home is too hot at day time

i have some targets at dd, so are you still want to buy the books last time at dd?

never mind on the QZY discount...actually you are already so kind to order the books for me.

The mangoes...actually I placed on the table for 2-3 days and found some black spot on them and quickly made the jelly and mix the mangoes into it and keep them inside the fridge so that we can take 3 cups every day. Last Sunday, we found black spots again on the remaining 2 mangoes on the table, so I mix them to the pudding and again keep inside the fridge and take 2 cups every day and tonight will be the last 2 cups la
