用salt "yip"蝦5-10mins.
咸鴨疍黃4個(each個切成12份)
落鑊前, 蝦"Lo"生粉

2tablespoon 油起鑊, 炒蝦至8成熟, 上碟, then
2tablespoon 油炒咸鴨疍, 聞到香味就將蝦回鑊..
等咸鴨疍黃溶哂上蝦's shell 喥就ok

好易煮.. 好好味.. 但好高胆固醇..

Hi Bunnymonkey,
My son will go to pre-school after summer. We were so lucky...we stopped the night feeding for our daughter when she was 2.5 months old and our son was 7 weeks old! =)

Does Amanda like daycare's food? Actually personally, I don't really like Chinese food much gar. hahaa.. at home, I always eat cereal, pasta, yogurt, and I love mac and cheese. :D I 唔多 like to "cook rice" at home gar. I like to cook pasta. Fast and easy mah plus I like pasta and gwai lo cursine more than Chinese's. But my husband like Chinese food more lor... So, we need to compromise about food.

By the way, forgot to say my bb's name is Kaden. :D Yeah, I guess if I don't have special mood to try making the congee, I may just keep feeding him the cereal and 到1歲 (or older) 就 switch 去食飯. Save me some time. I don't know when I can send him to daycare. I guess I need to find a job first. The daycare in my area is quite expensive ah. So the lastest time to send the baby to school is at 5-yr-old for pre-school? Or 3-year-old jau need to send to kindergarten/daycare? I fed Kaden 4 times for the yobaby yogurt (each time 1/2 container of the yogurt) and he liked it. I still have 4 yogurt in the fridge that I will feed him before it expire next month (6 yogurt in a pack).

Actually seems that Kaden can finish the whole cup of yogurt each time but I only fed him last before in case he has allergy. He seems fine after the yogurt so next time I may just feel him the whole cup. fai si yau lefover in the fridge.

I added you in msn too but didn't see you on now. I just went up to nap with baby earlier so I was offline lor. I online everyday and MSN everyday too. I do have yahoo, icq, AIM, and MSN, gtalk too but I use MSN more often nowadays because my mom use MSN (she is in HK).

I only add the gong yiu chu one time in the congee. Actually that congee is for me (adult) but I took some out and add more water and cook it again to make it even softer for bb to try. Anyway, I will see how's my mood goes and see if I will attempt to make congee again for bb. Or like the other mommies said, I may just skip the congee and switch him to 飯仔 when he's older. I am so lazy...

About cereal, I just bought 3 more box few days ago. Oatmeal, rice, and barley... I alternate the cereal each meal for Kaden. My mom keep saying I didn't give bb "yo yeah sic" (didn't feed bb good food) so bb still doesn't like to hold himself up or stand/crawl/cruise. She said bb need to eat har 粥仔 etc sin gee wui strong wor... oh well..

Can 叻叻 crawl or stand or walk yet?

Kaden actually took room-temp formula when he was much smaller but gau gau har jau ng sic (ever since I started warming up the formula from the fridge usingthe bottle warmer). Anyway, hopefully Kaden will get adapt to the US habbit soon. hehe.. Actually for myself, my mom said I adapt too much of the American way and drink cold stuffs, and don't eat rice etc. always pasta, salad, sandwiches... Kaden ho chi starting to grow 2 more teeth (7th and 8th) at the bottom now so he get a bit fussy sometimes and put his hand in the mouth to bite.

I still haven't get a chance to boil some egg (yolk) for him yet. I may try to give him some later when I cook my pasta and eggs.

wah gum lucky! can stop night feeding to early! So after your son go to pre-school, you will have more time? oh wait, you are working mom right? So who pick up the kid after class. Is the pre-school wholeday or half day only?

if u just provide consulting service just to the bay area region and still doing things like your old job (DB stuffs), i guess it might worth a try. in that case, there shouldn't be too much pressure for u.
problem for me was: i always travelled from coast to coast every mon thru fri and every project was very different in terms of the businesses and technologies, etc. so, i became not an expert of anything but just a quick learner and quick adapter.
i don't know i can do this kind of job any more since i have kid.
frankly, i'm still not sure if i'm (mentally) ready to go back to work soon. couple years ago when i got a call from the Google HR (i was told that one of my ex-coworkers gave them my phone number), i was so shocked and felt like not ready going back to work so soon.

btw, my boy's been in preschool since he's 2, but he still go to school in the mornings only. hopefully i'll feel comfortable letting him go to school full day by coming Fall. in that case, i'll hv more time looking into the job market or think about what i really wanna do.

oh ... u live in Mt. View? who's yr ob/gyn doctor? connie tan or ken liu??

hv u found a violin tutor for yr girl yet?
there's a Life Orchestra in our church. the conductor/tutor there is very experienced and with good qualification. they hv performance several times a year at the concert.
however, it's in milpitas and they meet very wed night from 7 to 9pm.
they take kids from 6 yrs old and up.

anyway, how's business?
my husband just emailed me a couple of houses posted at realtor.com. i just told my friend that the houses at cupertino is much more reasonable than the ones at Los Altos. however, now i need to take my words back ... the $1m houses in cupertino few yrs ago are like $1.3 to 1.4m now. i thought only the prices of houses in pleaseaton and san ramon areas went up a lot, but actually the whole bay area too.

Yeah, I will consider local consulting or tech support or actually whatever IT-related. I kinda just want to get back to work because I feel more secure that way (financially and career-wise ... haha.. if I really have any "career"). It would be ideal if I can find a less-pressure job though.

If you are ready to get back to work (if you want), have you consider to change field? Like doing something local so you don't need to travel. Actually Google is the dream company I want to work for. It's very close by and look at all those benefit and free gourmet food! I may try to find something there and apply later. :D

It's hard to look for a job when I full-time taking care of my baby. He often interrupted me while I am in the middle of something. I guess I should try to be more concentrate at night or during weekend for the job search. I guess my mind is still wandering around and not being concentrate enough.

I am with Kaiser.. so not connie tan or ken liu. :D I heard so many ppl have them as OB. I guess they are very popular OB here?

piperlime.com has sales for robeez's shoe. I got the 20% off coupon card but expired last week. I am not sure if there's any "Babystyle" store in NY. There's one in my area and they had some girls' robeez on sale. Doe ng chor.. but no sales for boys so I didnt' get any. Anyway, I got a leather indoor shoes (just like the Robeez) from Gymboree couple months ago. It was on sales very super cheap. But I bought it bigger so my son has not wear that yet.

I see you added me in msn. Thanks. I used to use ICQ a lot but later change to MSN coz my mom use it. Yahoo and AIM is more for my work people. Nowadays, I try to just open MSN and Yahoo at home.

My son was 17lb something in his 9 months check up. The Dr said he's in 15 percentile. So my mom mei say even more things lor... She said I didn't ho ho wai (feed) food to Kaden! He was 28" (close to 50 percentile) so doe ok la. I prefer taller and slimmer. I just hope he won't be too short later. Don't be short like me jau ho lah!

The bottle warmer I got is faster then if I use warm water. I put the bottle warmer upstair and it's good for night time. It came with a cooler to store 2 bottles in it. So at night, I don't need to go down to the kitchen and get the formula.

I ordered a electric Black and Decker mini 3-cup food processor from Amazon and just received it yesterday. I will try to use it and see if it's good. It has pretty good review online and it's $14.99.

I have the "First Year" bottle warmer that came with a cooler. It was ok so far (over 6 months use in daily basis). Thought I watched the "sometimes hot, sometime cold" reviews online. Maybe they don't have good quality control and some products don't give out consistant results.

我以前係一盒盒俾Amanda食, 1餐食2盒(2個favor), 1pack yababy食3-4日咗右..
我煮唐餐俾肥bear 老公食.. only Amanda on American diet, 佢好鐘意day care 嘅diet, 一來佢食, 咁佢老師就好錫佢, 二來佢見同學仔食, 佢咪又食咯!
唐餐--> Amanda只食plain湯麵, 白飯加sauce.. 佢唔食唐人餸.. 佢食chicken nugget, pasty, chicken noodle soup, mac and cheese老番餐多啲.. plus, 入黑就唔食嘢.. (so佢好少跟我哋dinner, mostly 佢陪我哋食), 咁又係, dinner 之後就瞓.. 敝..get to go.. 阿仔食BF..

Good that Amanda like the food in day care. Though it may be better don't eat too much chicken nugget and fries because you don't know what kind of "chicken" they use in the nugget and fries. Anyway, they all say those are junk food and not good for babies but I like those a lot! haha... I may try to not give my son too much of fast food later (I will see if it's possible in the future).

I also love mash potato with gravy. Anyway, most of the food I like doe hai fatty food: mash potato, pasta, ice-cream... :( It's so hard for me to lose weight...

How are you? How's Sean doing? Now it's my turn to 頭痛 about pre-school for Marcus. 呢2星期要決定!
Real estate market is doing great again! We see a lot more multiple offers now. I'm doing great...this is my 10th year in business la!

I still love it very very much!
I haven't found a violin instructor for Candace yet. Hopefully, I'll have everything (violin, swimming, and Chinese school) line up before summer!

is there a new preschool called Little Bridges in San Ramon? a couple of my friends said it's good.
also, my another friend's kids go to Quarry Lane and Valley Christian (in Dublin?).
how abt FCS? is it close to yr office?

is Marcus going to school in Fall? if so, there's still times to make decision as long as you've paid for the registrations and u got the seats at different schools.
if there's summer class available, i usually let him try it first to see if it's a good match.

i also can't make up my mind if we should send sean to private or public school for kindergarten and up.
i thought about moving to cupertino, coz its public schools are ok, while there're several good private schools in campbell which is not that far.
also, we're still not sure where to move. my husband's been talking about moving to pleaseaton, but i said it's too much commute for him work in north san jose. sometimes he blamed on me that i didn't let him buy it so now the houses there are even more expensive.

how long is the commute for u and yr husband go to work?

btw, i tried to look for another preschool for sean for his pre-k class in coming fall; however, there's a long wait list for the two schools that i like.

recently i also heard that a friend's girl had waited for 2 yrs and finally got into Chadborne elementary (in fremont mission san jose district). i didn't know that it also takes so long to get into a good public school too.
sean will be in kindergarten next Fall 2008, so i'm a bit nervous.
