我星期三生左啦, 阿女今日四日大, 有BF challenge呀, 阿女好懶瞓, 唔食奶, 今日半日濕左一條片咋... 我arm arm 擠左d出離補比佢, 不過擠得好少, 得5-10ml。

congratulations! it's not easy. little prince loved sleeping in his few weeks of life. i can still remember those "painful and frustrating" days. add oil! try your best! do you have enough support?

Sign, just been back from the hospital, this time is Clement. Fever and cough on Monday, hospitalised since Wednesday and still there now. Just RSV and the temperature has gone now, so prob. a day more of observation before discharge.

crazy life these few days, working as using, went home and settled Larry, went to the hospital and woke up every other hour (if not every hour), than went directly to the office in the morning. Sometimes I think I am not capable to be a mother of 2.

my deepest sympathy. wish clement will be fine soon!

it's really not easy to be a mother of two. i feel pretty exhausted too. luckily we have support from my parents and in-laws.

thanks for asking! heather's jaundice is very slowly coming down, but she's still lathargic all the time. bf has been very hard this time because she's not sucking. she only has one or two minutes of active sucking and then she will go to sleep. then it's my turn to pump out the milk and feed her back with the EBM with bottle. it takes so much effort every feed and i'm totally exhausted. and then with the bottles, she's not eager to take my breasts. it's all like a vicious cycle. my milk supply is diminishing. don't know how long i can hang on.

oh. it's crazy life. wish you can have enough physical and mental energy. wash hands frequently and thoroughly + eat healthily. definitely, you can't rest well. poor mom.

she's just as sleep as the newborn little prince. i can still remember those difficult days. as long as the jaundice is down, life will be better. hang in there. don't think too much. just try your best.

thank you! i'm now using a lactation aid (like a very thin straw) to give the EBM to heather. hope she will suck better and can correct the nipple confusion soon. meanwhile, according to advice from le leche league's leader, need to pump 8 times a day hopefully to increase my milk supply.

I pumped 8 times a day in Larry's first 2-3 weeks of life, it was crazy and didn't know how could I manage to survive when I looked back. Just pump, sleep, eat and don't think.

Is her gaining weight well?

she hasn't gained back her lost body weight when she was weighed on sat (day 11). will go to the maternal and child health centre again on wed. hopefully her jaundice level will decrease and weight will go up.

pumped 8 times yesterday and got 450ml of milk, of which she took 280ml of supplement while nursing at the same time. does it sound okay?

Clement 尋日出咗院喇(終於)，隔兩個鐘會咳一次好勁既，但之後又無事。

好多晚無瞓過自己張床，醫院o個3張硬櫈瞓到我腰都直，今日都仲有d骨痛，

花媽，如果只係生理性黃疸，其實都唔需要太緊張，繼續餵餵餵，食得多痾得多就ok。bb未退黃之前妳千祈唔好食薑醋住，我睇過本書話奶媽食薑醋會減慢bb退黃。

bb未夠2week，一日食15-20安(450-600ml)奶左右，妳一日泵8次，450ml，係泵一邊定兩邊? 因為bb食280ml+埋身，如果埋食有>200ml，即total有480ml plus，都幾正常。

但11日都未追得到出生既磅數，可以俾佢再食多少少(當然，如果佢唔食都無辦法)，如果夠濕片，但唔係日日有開大，我覺得可以再食多d，可以有一/兩餐完全cup feed，妳就趁o個餐瞓耐少少。

妳傷口復原得好唔好? 自己多唔多野諗(情緒)? 記得我地係一班同路人，作為奶媽/媽媽/媳婦/妻子，好多感受/委屈/擔心/歡樂我地都會明既﹗(當然我唔明有個女o個種開心
