Hi, tpy和其他媽媽：

我看了你們這個主題好幾個月了，今天終於忍不住要上來和大家打個招呼。
我BB還差兩天就六個月大，由出生至今一直是全人奶。他在三個月左右開始有濕疹，已看過三個醫生了，情況一直反反覆覆，但這個星期就突然變得非常嚴重，除了頭面外，身軀，手肘和大腿都有紅色的一大片，替他塗了醫生處方的hydrocortisone後情況仍沒有改善。
他晚上睡得特別差，常常一晚醒五六次，一邊哭一邊抓臉抓頭，真是令我覺得既辛苦又心痛。
之前在這裡看過有媽媽說David's Lavender Facial Balm好，我今天終於忍不住打電話去訂購了。希望真的有用吧。到時候再上來告訴大家效果如何。

I really understand your feeling. My daughter starts to have this since she is two months and now she is 6 years old and still cannot sleep well. She will scratch a few times in the night. And I never have a good sleep as well.

Dear Hellokitty337,

I totally agree with you that "We should always be very careful in using new medicine for very small babies", if there is something related to drug usage, I strong agree also that we should ask the professional.

But I feel that your example using cigarette smoking as an argumentation is not appropriate since unlike smoking, which is a non-stop or even an addicted action, we will stop taking drug after the disease is cured.

Anyway my daugther is 10 years old and receiving regular follow-up by dermatologist, so I am confident to continue to use Protopic. It is only my personal comment, don't take it seriously.

Thanks for your reply. 我是住在England, last time the doctor only prescribed Aqueous cream BP for my baby but I know it is only a moisturiser, and actually no use at all on the 濕疹. The I used a 類固醇cream on my baby's face, then the 濕疹started to fade. And I am thinking how can he use 類固醇 for a long time, then I found out this topic and found out 'Elidel' and wanted to try it. My baby 濕疹 was once very serious, I can tell you the skin has peeled off and it had some 'blood water' on his 濕疹 and it is all red. but now it is much better. In the past two days, no more redness on his face but his wrist and legs still very dry and got some little red spots. My mum bought from the chemist a 濕疹cream which contains 'Zinc Oxide' and I am now using it on his legs and wrists, hope it helps. Now I am too scared to use 'Elidel' cream la.

How old is your son? I am really appreciated for your opinion and sharing.

對啊, 麥芽是發了芽的大麥. 若你囡囡對麥有敏感則要小心. 不過開奶茶是有少許"瀉"作用的, 偶然飲一次或一兩星期飲一次, 大多數沒有什麼影響, 但就不應經常飲用.

我仔仔亦是對麥有敏感, 但我又不覺他飲了開奶茶後皮膚有問題, 或許他對麥的敏感不太嚴重吧, 又或許是因為食物敏感是會隨時間而有所改變的, 他做皮膚測試時才只得個多月大, 現在他已8個月大了, 加上開始食固體食物, 身體扺抗力可能好了很多, 對某種食物敏感亦可能減輕了又或不再敏感. 所以我亦打算遲少少給他吃白麪包, 看看有沒有反應.

近日我仔仔的濕疹情況OK啦, 前一排天氣唔好, 面額兩旁出了很多紅點, 搽藥膏後現在已好了9成幾, 仍有少許紅印未退去, 我亦有打算用HOYINMA介紹的David's Lavender Facial Balm, 但到現在仍未能在網上訂購成功,可能個PC有問題, 已EMAIL給他們問原因. 原來你正用 Jurlique cream 同囡囡搽, 效果是否很好? 在那兒可以買到這CREAM? 我找了很多地方也買不到呢.

很高興你用了新方法而令囡囡的濕疹有改善, 若果不靠藥物而能令濕疹情況好轉又或可以減輕症狀, 確是很好啊(起碼沒有藥物附帶的副作用), 所以我認為是值得花一段時間去摸索及嘗試的. 我仍在摸索中, 大家繼續努力

另你所指的"健康食品"是什麼? 是否給嬰兒或小孩子吃的? 若果好的話, 我亦想試試.

原來住在英國倫敦, 難怪醫生只給你Aqueous cream, 但這對你bb的濕疹沒有幫助呢!! 你有否試找中醫睇bb的濕疹? 有幾個在外國住的bk媽咪都話bb的濕疹全靠中醫處方中藥洗身醫好濕疹的, 我覺得你可以試下這個方法, 只用中藥煲水沖涼而又沒有西藥的副作用, 應該較為適合bb仔. 不知英國的china town 有否中醫? 不過最好找一位可靠又有口碑的醫師, 診斷及用藥才會較準確.

此外, 用蘆薈敷患處也是有效用的, 但這要比用藥花一段長時間,效果也許會慢一點, 若你有時間, 亦可以試這個方法,又可以緩和濕疹的症狀, 亦可以滋潤皮膚預防濕疹番發.

我仔仔現在8個月大, 有時仍受濕疹番發的困擾, 但已比他細時好了很多. 現在我會少用藥, 多用搽cream, 戒食高敏感的食物, 多飲去濕湯水, 亦會用金銀花水沖涼抺面以減輕濕疹番發.

正如其他媽咪的想法一樣(如yiyin), 若果不靠藥物而能令濕疹情況好轉又或可以減輕症狀, 確是很好啊(起碼沒有藥物附帶的副作用), 所以我仍在摸索及嘗試有什麼良方可醫治濕疹.

這個濕疹課題很像是無了期似的(因為不知要"讀"到何時才可停止?), 需要無比時間及耐性去"備課"及接受"不定期"或"突擊"的測驗.

既然bb有濕疹是事實, 你不要太過担心及upset, 我建議你多d在這個topic內與大家分享, 舒緩一下會開心d, 由於大家來自不同的地方, 經驗亦會不一樣, 在這兒可與大家互相交流經驗及認識醫治濕疹的不同方法, 而且又可以知道濕疹的最新資料, 真的得益不少呢! 我也在這兒學了不少醫治濕疹的方法及經驗, 對仔仔的濕疹很有幫助的.

若你囝囝今天仍很痕及多了很多紅班, 搽CREAM的作用亦不大, 我建議你同佢睇下醫生安全D.

Hi Hoyinma,

I am pretty interesting in "David's Lavender Face Rash Balm" that you mentioned and been using. But before I order it, have few questions for u, many many thx !!!

1, It is a moisturing cream or medicine cream
2, can we apply it frequently
3, how did u use it for your BB like which area, how many times per day etc ....
4, Is it ok for long-term use
5, Is this a new product, cos just don't want to hear the news like Elidel, bad news after using for some days
6, Does it contain steriod cos as we all know, only steriod or Elidel/Protocol can cure escema ...
7, Could u do us a favor to take picture for it, I am planning to order one, just want to ensure I buy the same thing (don't want to make any mistake, cos it is used for bb)
8, Do u know the ingredients for the product

Hoyinma, it seems too many questions to u, but really appreciate if you could give me/us a hand .... Thx again !!!

Yesterday, I went to Mustella and they have given me a sample of skin repair cream. They said it can be used on eczema skin. I have tried it yesterday and will tell you about the effect later.

Re lotion, I have used quite a no. of them: physio jel, mustella, cetafil ... so far i find mustella (stelatopia series) is quite good to my baby's skin.

I will also wait baby older to try flax seed oil. heard that this is very good for eczema. I tried it on my son when he was 5.5 months old but no effect. Maybe he was too small to digest any oil.

以下有多種中醫方法for沖涼醫濕疹, 你可因應bb的濕疹情況而選用其中一種, 當然未必所有皆有效, 亦可能只有一兩種方法是ok的, 但就要你自己衡量及嘗試, 我自己就以金銀花為主再加其它配搭, 效果都叫有d成效,起碼仔仔無咁痕,紅點亦無以前咁多啦, 當然是否100%歸功於金銀花就唔敢肯定, 因為同時間我亦有同仔仔搽cream及飲去濕湯水, 所以亦有可能是咁多樣方法夾埋一齊先有咁好的效果, 總之能醫好濕疹就ok啦, 呢d方法又無副作用, 用左都無壞.

1. 金銀花(可買現成一包$10分兩次用), 再加2-4片片糖煲水沖涼- 可以止癢及滋潤皮膚
2. 金銀花5錢,土茯苓1錢加5碗水煲30分鐘- 洗皮膚濕疹功效好
3. 菊花5錢,黃柏3錢加5碗水煲30分鐘- 洗瘡疤腫痛及治療濕疹
4.亦有人話用蘇木比金銀花更能去濕毒, 蘇木是一條條木像紅色的牙籤, 可在葯房買

Dear Elastigirl,

I am using smoking as an example because I want to show that cancer do not develop in a few days or months. It takes many years to develop.

I agree with you that smoking is usually a continuous habit for many years. However, even when a smoker stops smoking his/her cancer risk is still a lot higher than a life-long non-smoker.

What I am saying is that a cancer causing agent can have a long term effect even if the exposure is brief. You seems to be a very knowledgable person, I am sure you must know many other examples.

I wish everybody uses medicine appropriately, and get good professional information before using strong medicine for tiny babies.

原來你也想在網上訂購而未能成功呀？我還以爲是我的PC有問題，所以再在家中用mac機做，但結果同樣失敗。
我實在太心急了，所以昨天已經直接打電話給那個pharmacy訂貨，但至今仍未收到他們的確認電郵，有點擔心呢。

Jurlique baby barrier cream, the link here, http://www.beautyhabit.com/product1832.html, seems it's much for nappy area ...

Regarding Lavendar facial balm, I also hv problem on ordering it via internet .... I called the responsible guy there but they just don't know why either .... eventually i did ask one of my colleagues in Au to help to buy one for me. I asked my colleague to buy a smaller tub 100mg first cos wanna to try first ... If you hv interest, I can ask him to order one for you too .... BTW, you could also make the order via the phone as the responsible person told ...
