I finished a degree course 3 yrs ago and I wanted to get a new job at that time becoz I'd worked in the same company for many yrs. I tried to find the job via agencis and job :ghost: posted on newspapers or web. There're no sound from agencies and I only got a few interview opportunities by sending application letters. Although holding a degree of BBA and having more than 10 yrs working exps, I couldn't get a job successfully after several months. I know that their concerns were my age (over 30), having a small kid and asking for a good salary (of course, couldn't less than current).

At the end, becoz my boss knew my intention to leave and wanted to keep me, so he gave me a handsome salary increment and sort of promotion (just title change, job content is the same) as an award of my development. Then I've worked in the same company for another 3 yrs now.

What I want to say is there's no guarantee of getting a job after finishing a degree. To be honest, not many boss want to employ a 30+ woman with kids. They want someone who is young, u-grad, low salary and willing to work late. Of course, the study is really good for self development and mantality. However, the cost of study is huge, not only money (I spent more than 80k), also time spending with your family. I also advise mami needs to finish the course before BB enrolling primary school. Otherwise, it would be a nightmare becoz you need to struggling around yours and BB's books.

Hope my exps and advice can help some mami making their minds.

我好plan, 反而我有好多生日會都在復活節舉行, 到時都會好忙呀

昨天睇報紙, 去台灣4日3夜跟團都係$999包機票連食宿, 超抵!!! 你有冇去睇吓呀!!!

我反而想去韓國, 因為對換率勁抵, 機票連酒店都係$1900全包宴, 你會否考慮吓!!!

韓國我都係去過兩次啦,其實我短期內都唔打自去旅行,因始終仔仔仲細,反而近近地大陸就會去下.

我嚟緊復活節假期諗住去深圳大梅沙,東部華僑城玩幾天,見d人去完影d相都好靚.

但好唔開心，今年年頭老細話個市差咗, 已CUT人工一大截,HIS WIFE 話以後文件她會幫手處理, 講咩!佢唔叫我做佢D無謂私人嘢已經要感謝上天了..........
我真喺好想留係屋企湊仔,我有2個小朋友,放工又要教做功課,又要溫習,更加要勞氣工人,如果個市唔喺咁差...........

老公叫我忍多2年,希望個市好D&工人完約就留喺屋企湊仔，您地認為到小朋友幾大時，才光榮引退全職照顧好Ｄ呢？？

我有一位小朋友差唔多4歲,我雖然都好想自己照顧囝囝,但一諗起要做家務,我就覺得好悶,所以我暫時都唔想退休住.....哈..
