讀書呢啲嘢真係好頭痛, 我哋果個年代, 最緊要近, 而家就多好多固慮. 名校係咪真係好呢? 真係唔知道, 只知道佢能夠成為名校一定有佢既原因. 但名校係咪人人都適合讀呢? 真係要考慮清楚.

子進爸個堂細佬細個時入咗九龍塘某名校, 但佢家庭背景一般, 所以成日比啲同學排斥, 後來更有人係佢屋企放火. 呢件係真人真事, 因為佢哋間屋比人燒咗, 有一排佢哋成家去咗子進爸屋企住.

其實, 子進爸有朋友問過子進想唔想入 st. paul, 佢話可以幫到手, 不過哦哋拒絕咗.

*sigh* Each school has its pros and cons. I think the school also needs to be close, as travelling long distance is too hard for the child.

I think the system is also a lot dependent on pure luck, as most spaces are allocated by lottery.

Some of the cultures at the famous schools are not what I want for my kids.

Ivy pa went to a good elementary school near his school for elementary, but he got accepted by some of the most famous schools for secondary schools. He ended up going to one of the top 10, and got very good results at HKCEE. His school has a pretty good culture and his classmates are not snobbish.

It depends on which St. Paul.

St. Paul Co-ed...St. Paul Convent...St. Paul Catholic/Secondary...St. Paul Boys...

So many different ones...very different culture as well.

Totally agree!! 如果唔係搬近咗阿 ma, 我都唔會 choose 依家依區學校俾晴晴, 好唔明白啲人點解山長水遠都要俾啲囝囝囡囡走去 kln tong 讀書, 最難為係啲小朋友, 每日都要長途跋涉咁番學.

She has school holidays already. Evan is fine so far....pray that he will not get sick.

Does Ivy like to hug and get very close with
Evan? Hayes likes to have WET kiss to Hughes, so terrible if Hayes is sick! Germs would be easily passed....
