I need to employ a maid who introduce from my friend. She's in Philippine right now. How can i employ her to Hong Kong? What procedure I need to do? She has been Hk before. Thanks a lot!!
My helper is 菲傭的。
她的Visa 是2007年2月10日簽發的，That means the expiry date is 2009年2月10日，現在我仍然未繳交last levy $2,400，This moment我想save last levy $2,400唔交，最後totally可以豁免$19,200 levy，那麼，我是否須要盡快terminate old helper’s contract？
昨天，我問過my helper會否繼續和我打工，She replied that she wants to go back Philippine after she finished two years’ contact.
Of course, I immediately asked her 會否願意提早離開HK，她竟然願意讓我用1個月通知期，而不須付1個月代通知金給她離開，我可否用1個月通知期而不須付1個月代通知金呢？
其實我這個實例，時間上，只要I can terminate the present helper and then renew next new helper
before 31/7/2010，是否真的可以得到豁免$19,200 levy嗎？
My Indonesian maid starts working early July 08 (salary $3480). She seems quite hardworking but very careless and not getting along well with my kids. She speaks Cantonese but not easy to understand. So I have employed a "bunbun" as a second maid and the visa can be collected end of this month. I want to transfer this Indonesian to take care of my mother.
What further steps I need to take to get this Indonesian to work in my mother's house? or is it worth to terminate her employment with me and ask my mother to be the employer? then I don't have to pay the levy ($7200) but pay the new salary? My mother has no income and sometimes if she is not feeling well, she is not clear in mind, so I do not prefer her be the employer.
The maid looks hard working, but always "大頭蝦" and has a boy friend in HK (HK resident)! so would you suggest I employ another maid?
