真係唔知點好<--- At the beginning, your situation happened too, even she got 4oz milk from bottle, she did not satisfied by bottle and cried! Finally I have to comfort her by let her suck my nipples for 10 minutes, then she went to sleep. Do u know why? Becos I guess only u feed your BB, rite? once you hold him, she will turns his head to your nipple and try to suck even your clothes is on? If possible, try to ask your husband or someone else to feed him by bottle, then he will gradually get in track of bottle-feed. My mum said becos I have the 奶酥味, when breast-feed mums hold the BB, he/she can smell and eager to suck our nipples!
I usually can pump 4oz breast-milk each time. Sometimes after I drink some fish soup and get enough rest, I am able to pump 5oz. I usually pump 3-4 times a day, other meals will be fed by formula for my BB.
Karen, if you really feel too exhausted for direct breast-feed, then u really have to think about pumping out. I got the same problem with u before ( or mine was even worst) I felt extremely exhautsed and tired since my BB always wanted to eat and every time she took 45 mins to an hour. I suffered a lot from direct breast-feed since i had to freeze myself for 45mins to an hour.. very tired, nipples were terrily painful that i screamed and sometimes with tears! Also, I suffered a lot but I also worried if she is full or not everytime!! I talked to my friend about that and she suggested me to pump the breast-milk out to feed her, becos rest is very essential for the mums to produce milk. on the other hand, i can know how much milk i have and how much milk the BB needs. I have started pumping milk for 2 days and i found that it is much better for me, and full for my BB! Karen, remember!! Rest is very important for u to produce enough milk and don't stress yourself too much if it is too tough for u!!
I am back! But my baby is still in St. Paul because she has got baby Jaundice. :-( I really miss her so much! I left the hospital just after fed her at 4:30p.m. today. :-(
Sorry to scare you all for the terrible photos that my husband posted earlier.
