harry ma, my case is just like yours... I am a nosy C9, and talk alot. but my husband does not like it.
Thus , we knew no people even we join the tour. very boring.
besides, we are in the embarrass age group - too old for the 20s... and too youngs for the 50s... so not many topics to communicate with the other couples.
I remembered joining the tour to Japan.. those young couples crazy in buying those japanese products... but we are not.. so end up :-(
Hi - BUSY BUSY BUSY - with small kids is really really busy. doggie, you don't drive, right? my car broke down on monday, i cannot start it after i stop for a min, tuesday took to check and they said everything is OK!!!
I registered my son in a 1-week full day soccer camp, 2 wks half day camp, & still looking for some more soccer camps, but some are too far away, of clash the vacation. We will be going to Kelowna BC in the beginning of August for 2 weeks, and in July there will be Stampede parade & a week of fun fo my son. But i still want to keep him busy & not to stay home to fool around. My daughter is too small to join the camps, no free time in summer.
Last night our Flames hockey team win and makes a 3-2 series, if they win again tomorrow, Stanley Cup will stay in Canada this year. But tomorrow i have a wedding banquet to go.
Harry ma - what kids usually do in summer, our summer holiday start at the end of June, & Sept 7 is the 1st day of school next term.
doggie - yes, tommorrow night may be the last game if Flames win, but we have to attend a wedding, too bad unable to watch w/ my son. Actually this is my third time to visit Kelowna, last year we went to the beach (actually the lakeside), we booked the hotel by the beach, and my son was so crazy, he didn't want to anywhere but just playing w/ the sand & water. It makes me remember when we were small, we went to the real beach in HK, Repluse Bay, 'ding 9' in Castlepeak road, butterfly bay, shek o, ... but now becomes high-rise and no more new terrorities.
My husband doesn't like to join guided tour, he always plan & go by self, buying air-ticket, rent a car, look at the map, and i learned how to read the map because of him, have to sit beside him & tell the direction.
Calgary - sorry to hear the Flames got lost in the last 2 games.
I went for the medical check.. doctor said I put on too much weight - 12 lbs during the last year.. have to watch out for the diet.
I told her i do walk up the stairs (I work on the 5th floor) everyday.. but she said that's not the right wayto exericse - at least no good to the knee cap.
the best is to go shopping :-P she said "window shopping" only this is the theraphy most of the OL should do. walking in the mall to stretch your leg and burn up your energy.
I told my hubby about this.. he just keep laughing. but I do like this idea. :-P
I do have some diet menu - but have to admit I am lazy and did not follow the rules all the time - no patient. so can't help much.
currently - I have cereals + milk for breakfast, self-packed sandwiches for lunch, white meat + veggie for dinners (no rice) but still I could not stop putting on weight.
my doctor said my diet is o.k. but just lack of exercise.. :-P
Harry ma - I read thru the menu - but fruit for all days? I could not keep my mouth shut for not eating other stuff.. I love eating.
Inging - I do play badminton twice a week, but you know. after exercise - you feel hungry and you eat... that's why I put on weight (I guess)
hola hoop (mind my spelling) I could not do it. my goddaughter keeps laughing at me as I always drop the things on the floor... and she said it ruin the hardward... :-(
