If you're so concerned abt Chun's English, I would suggest you to send him to Sacred Heart (SHCC). I've left SHCC (only students there) and Macau for years, so I don't know if it's still the same. SHCC is an all-girls' school; however, they took boys too for kindergarten; then most of them will switch to Yuet Wah (all boys), "Chi Yout" (boys), perpetual help, etc.
Kindergarten is only available at SHCC (Chinese Section). So even those who plan going to SHCC (English Section) for elementary school, they still usually go the SHCC (Chinese Section) for kindergarten. Years ago, SHCC kindergarten has started the "active learning" approach - way before others. Also, the English they taught was very advanced (they learned in sentences). But I think they started from so-called K2 (at least 3 yr 9 mo.)
Maybe u should double check with SHCC. I'm not sure if kindergarten is available at Yuet Wah though.
I know nothing about "Sea Star" and "Saint Kung Wui" kindergarten and elementary schools, but I knew that both "Sea Star" and "St. Kung Wui -Choi Ko" high schools are not good.
If my kid went to "traditional" schools in Macau, I would only consider the followings:
SHCC, Yuet Wah, Perpetual Help, and maybe Pui Ching only if his math is good. (F1 at Pui Ching will teach the math books for F2 class at other schools in Macau/HK).
I know some kicked-out students from Pui Ching did very well after they switched to SHCC and Santa Rosa. Also, I know some kicked-out students from SHCC did very well after they switch to Choi Ko and other schools.
Also, most Macanese people whom I met here were graduates from those 4 schools that I mentioned earlier.
Hope that it helps! U seemed to worry too much abt Chun's English. He seems to be a smart kid to me, and kids learn real fast at this age. so, don't worry!

I think the Sheng Kung Hui we are talking about is not the same as the one you are thinking, it is a new school in Taipa, and it's run by foreigners. And they don't have high school yet~~

Thanks for your advise, however I don't want Chunchun to go to "traditional" schools in Macau>_< it's too much pressure I think. I want him have a happy childhood. The reason why I choose Sea Star or St. Kung Wui, that is because they both are "active learning" and "small class"
However, as you knew that Sea Star high school wasn't a very good school... even they have improve alot in the few years but it's still...huh.... And St. Kung Wui that we talking about, it's a new school here and it don't have high school yet, only up to Primary 4 or 5 (not really remember)
I was thinking that St. Kung Wui is an English school, English come first, then Mandarin... and Cantonese; but Sea Star only a Chinese school. If I want Chunchun to have better English, it's better to let him change to St. Kung Wui I think.
