請問你哋大肚時. 醫生會否幫你哋按排抽血做血糖分析. 睇下媽媽時否有糖尿病ar... 如果有, 時否要特別安排呢? 其實我下個月到美國. 我現在大肚, 是否要預先在美國make appointment 先婦科醫生. 方便醫生跟進我的情況la..因為我唔清楚美國要見醫生是否要booking ar...

你溫到婦科醫生就得啦，唔使bookin。醫生會問你有冇做過咩test如果你冇記錄，距會幫你做過曬加啦。你幾時要做D咩野醫生會話比你聼。唔使你自己book加。

sorry!!我未找到婦科醫生ka..只係我老公幫我按排了家庭醫生。我老公話好似係唔係先要去家庭醫生再refer我去婦產科醫生。

家庭醫生同產科醫生好大分別，如果你個個家庭醫生都睇大肚婆就話者。。我唸你都係叫你老公打聽下去邊倒溫個產科醫生啦，但係我既忠告就係千奇唔好溫唐人街D醫生。

welcome to US.
for your case, i guess you can see the 婦科醫生 directly, no need to see the family doctor. just bring all your check up record and test results.
ask your husband to check for any 婦科醫生 under your insurance network.

i highly recommand you to sign up a pregnancy calendar at wedMD (www.wedmd.com). this pregnancy calendar provide some very useful info. of your pregnancy, such as when you need to do the test, what will the doctor check on you on next visit, and your baby's growth...very useful.

which area are you going to stay in Chicago? see if any 婦科醫生 recommondation.

Not sure about your area, but in my area - Santa Clara country in CA... you do not have to settle the bb name in the hospital. Though if you already have the name ready, it will be easier and faster to get all the document done. The nurse already warn the new parents if they are really not sure, dont just give out a "whatever" name to them because it will probably take about 1 year to get all the name change done for bb's records plus you need to spend quite a lot of money to have it change (couple hundreds). But if you don't have the name ready before you leave the hospital, then you will need to go to the SSN office etc to apply for the SSN for your baby. If you give it to the record officer in the hospital, they will file the paperword and the SSN card will send to your home address.. much more convenient.

Again, different county may have different rules. You may ask your local county office or hospital and see if they can give you more info.

但就唔知點攞, 家姐話佢小朋友個D都成10幾年前,
唔知依家係咪轉左簡單D果隻喎~

Which state/county your bb born? Chicago? My son's birth cert (Santa Clara county in CA) is not like 白色A4紙 bor. Size maybe similiar but it has different color. It has bb's name, parents' name, date and location of birth etc. The paper has some texture feeling when you touch it.

各位，好高興見到有個topic from Chicago. 雖然我咁遲加入，希望各位亦給予一些意見。我Husband 及兩歲仔仔已是公民from Chicago，我未係，因我真怕悶，亦擔心決定移居Chicago後，找不到工作。我真係好認同Chicago真好悶，唐人街又無嘢行，如要我在唐人街找份工就更加難。其實有什麼好工可做？我知總有一天要過來，都係為仔仔讀書及將來。各位媽媽有何意見？

我就係啦~ 我細仔係芝加哥出世, 所以, 佢係公民,
但我同大仔就攞綠卡,
如果你黎芝加哥, 你會住邊呀~
咁芝加哥又係悶左d既, 佢唔似 LA 或NY 咁熱鬧,
之前我係度住時, 都係一個星期落去唐人街1 次飲下茶,
去芝城or 香港市場或者大家發買下餸咁架咋~
我都同你一樣擔心搵唔到工,
自己既學歷又唔係真係好好, 所以, 依家hk份工咁好,
我就成日係度 15 / 16 囉~
上次06年暑假, 我帶兩個仔返黎,
就差d唔俾我入境啦~ 搞到我依家好有陰影,
都唔知果個關員有無blacklist 我, 如係, 我就慘啦~
以後出入, 佢地都會check 晒我幾時返, 幾時走,
咁我想1年返1 or 2次都唔掂啦~

Thanks for your reply. 當然我依家在HK返工啦，因我現在都未入籍，你知啦，如果我要入籍，未必是難事，聽我老公講，只要我肯過去，大概一兩年到就得，只不過我覺得未係時候。咁你兩個仔仔現在香港讀書定美國呀？你會點安排？我仔仔現在兩歲，我好想佢係香港讀好的中文才過去，但又怕太遲而令佢錯失學習機會，所以仍未有時間表。你有任何意見？
