Dear Dr Yonex,
我囡囡7月份三歲,暫時102-103cm高,42磅,診所兒科醫生寫紙叫我帶佢去QE睇專科,話佢超晒高,我老公五呎十一吋高,我自己五呎三,我和家人都覺得只係遺傳所以個女咁高大,但最近因病又去睇呢個兒科醫生,佢問我去

I think the dr is not confident. Cleft palate is a clinic diagnosis. Just like a look, I can tell Yes/no.
I think U should seek a second opinion and forget about this dr.

My two years daughter s now suffering from 鵝口'倉', she refused to eat and drink, only eat a little thin congee and milk. What should I do and how should I take care of my daughter. And also, how long does it take?

首先多謝你的解答.
我個女現28 個月, 27磅, 有食物敏感 eggs,fish,nuts,wheat,soybean,個人好敏感, 所以我無論在屋企或去遠啲都準備抗敏藥水, 現吃(有需要時)政府的黃色藥水(2.5ml), 我知此是第一代藥. 現知有第二代藥ZYRTEC 及PERIACTIN, 是否副作用少啲呢??此二種哪隻好些??或有更好的呢?? 我是否應轉呢?? 如是,可否告知份量?? 謝謝!!

Did U bring her to see Dr.? There are some useful med. for local application. Try give for ice-cream for relieving pain if she's no cough. She will love it.
It takes about 3~4 dayd to get cure with treatment.

Zyrtec 無 Periactin o甘眼瞓. 兩只都係4~5 ml 啦.
Zyrtec 一日服兩次 vs Periactin 可以服3次(Every 6 hours.)

Hi Dr. Yonex,

Yes. I did bring her to see doctor yesterday. The Doc gave my daughter "otofen Suspension" for relieving pain. Since she is coughing and with thick flem, the doc also gave her "U-Codra Cough" and "Bromhexine Syrup". She is a bit better now. But, she has slight fever in day time, around 37-37.5 degrees. In Night time, somtimes around 38-39 degrees. So, when fever is over 38, I did give her panadol. In this case, should I give her ice-cream or fruit? Also, it seems she doesn't like milk because of the think flem, so should I only give congee to her?

Please help!

U may buy her Daktarin-oral-gel or nystatin oral suspension for local application.
