if yr relative had a HSBC A/C and the A/C in HK is also HSBC.. then u can transfer the fund using T/T ga,

it might not be quicker but its cheaper.
my friend told me that they charge about £10 for T/T if u use HSBC in both UK and HK.. if diff bank they will charge sth like £30

yeah let cancel the traveller cheque and do T/T la

its easy..
just ask yr relative to bring her ID (eg driving lisence or passport) to the bank then fill in the form. request to do urgent T/T. the fund should arr within 3 working days for urgent transfer. as for normal transfer it will take sth like 5-7 working days

Where can I get more information. What happened is my father in law will help us to find a maid before we go back to HK. However, we are not sure if he wants to take care the two babies by himself.

Obviously, if he wants to take care the BIL's baby, we don't want him to take care of ours. We want to use nursery as an excuse....

我唔係好鐘意整野食d人架，只不過在這裡唔整就無得食咁啦！我hb每次回來都無咩野手信的，因他要帶d貨版回來，所以都無位啦！況且他買d野都唔啱我和個女心水的，所以都係等我地自已返港買好過了！

When I was 4 months pregnant last time, we had already deceided Francesca's name (+Chinese name) and her little brother and sister's name - River and Willow. I know it is awfully early for naming a child...but it's good to call the baby's name rather than "the baby" or "it". My hubby is forcing to come up some Chinese names...It won't be long until Willow got her Chinese name.

Francesca is very good -she understands she need to be careful about my bump although she's just 15 months. She kisses and touches my tummy all the time. I always point at babies and my tummy. I think she knows there's a baby inside. As I work in the creche, there's lots of babies come in. She is very good with babies. (I am really glad about that!)

Willow kicks me all the time!...Honestly, I enjoy that a lot= She's telling me "Mummy, I am still alive!"

ya...I started to have my driving lessons not long ago. I had 4 lessons so far. My instructor told me a normal person takes 40 hours lesson= over £800...
I am a bit concern>.< How many hours of driving lesson have you take?

hi Zenia,
I am busy working in the creche. I did quite a lot of extras last couple of weeks...so no time to catch you mums up!
I do come on BK quite often but you know...if I don't come on here for several days, I need to read at least 10 pages to catch u up...which I really can't be asked>.<

唔係浸會唔好, 只不過係我自己一向鍾意st. teresa (法國)多d啫, 因為我hb個office以前晌正隔離, 所以如果我晌果度生, 佢可以隨時嚟陪我之嘛, 我本身生第一胎時巳參觀過果度的婦產科病房架喇, 不過最後都係因唔想跟當時的私家醫生先去咗政府醫院生! 今胎如無意外都係去返柴灣的東區醫院生喇, 佢地d service都幾好, 而且又係近我hb個office (佢晌1月尾巳搬到果度返工), 所以都無咩好選擇lu!

我巳開始物色工人架喇, 只係暫時仲未搵到合適的人選住, 我巳交托比一兩間agent幫手搵, 希望快d有消息啦! 我都好心急呢!

但妳到時巳有工人照顧bb, 咁都唔太需要放baby晌nursery度喎, 我怕妳FIL到時唔鍾意咋!

OIC.. I hope u will meet some good doctor and nurse in 東區醫院喇... I think the government hopsital is not as bad.. also nowaday a lots of people from china go for private too..
just take it easy...

as for yr maid.. are u looking at those finish their contract locally or from oversea

I hope u can find a good one la.. sometime its difficult to find a good maid..

are u going back to work after u give birth to ur second one? also u planning to have a 3rd child too?

hi yatjeh and everyone,
My hubby can't read Chinese (the only chinese he can read: 彥琳(my name),影曦 (Francesca) and 出口(he took KCR+MTR a lot)...
I have my own "naming system". I pick up the charaters that I like and find out their meaning in English. Then I put them into two groups - 平and仄. Takes one from each group, that's how I name Francesca. E.g. 影is from 平group, 曦is from仄group
In this case, the name sounds more 響.
And the meaning of 影曦: sunlight in the shadow
We think it's very beautiful.

Piers and I always want 3. But I dunno how Francesca gonna react when Willow is born and how am I cope with two of them. So...We'll see...then deceide when to have the third one.
I want our kids to be very close coz' when they get older, they can look after themselves and don't need to worry the "youngest" one. If the 2nd and 3rd one are like 5 yrs apart...When we are 40(Francesca will be 18ish), we won't be able to go out and do stuff(e.g. piss off and travel, just two of us) coz the youngest one...is too young...

My sister and I are very close but we fought a lot when we when little>.< She got a scar on her face coz of me...(ashame...) I do hope Francesca and Willow will be very good to each other.
