i would like to know how to renew my maid (indonesian)'s contract so that the maid tax can be avoided. can i do it by myself as i don't want through the maid agent.

My maid will be ternimated on 27/11. She request air ticket to her place(Surigao). Refuse the air ticket to Cebu and then transit to her place by bus/boat. Do I need to give her as her request or just sent her back to her place by any method?

My helper is going to finish her contract with us and she recommend her relative in Philippine to us. If we accept her relative, shall we need to process the documenation and procedure through the Agency in Hong Kong?? What should I need to know/do?
My maid has been really good at work, and has worked for us for just over 6 months. She is a single mother and has a 6 yrs old son who has been looking after by her parents. My maid just told me last thurs that she hads to resign due to her parents do not want to look after her son any more, we discussed with her and aksed her to wait and see for other alternatives. Her parents didn't want her to work in HK after she finished her previous work in Singapore but she was still trying to come to HK as she really wanted to earn more for her son's future. Now she really worries that her parents keep leaving his son alone, so she eventually decides today to resign. Then we decide to give her a month in Philippine to settle her parents or find a caretaker for her son. My questions are:
1. If we let her resigns first, and we leave her job open, hopefully if she can return to HK, then we only need to re-apply her all over again in HK right?. Is there any problem with immigration?
2. If we let her take annual + unpaid leave in early Jan09 to stay in Philippine so to keep her job, can I ask her to write us a letter stating that if she does not return by a date in Feb e.g. Feb 5, then by default she gives up her job. Then I shall submit to immigration such letter to inform about her resignation on Feb 5. Is this feasible?
This is my second time to ask u for a help (the first time talk to u was Dec, 07)..same case as last year, my indo maid disappear suddenly...anyway i am looking for philipino maid this time, i went to the agent on last Sat (29/11) to hire an overseas philipino maid, we have the phone interview and i think she is OK then i decide to apply her but no news until today so i call the agent again, she said need to wait the maid to collect $ & get loan from the bank so it's take at least 7-10 days for her to sign the contract, is that true? beside that, is philipino maid easy to apply to work in canada? any specific requirements? as i can see there are a lot of philipino maid suddenly break the contract & go to canada...
I just find my maid kept my HKID copy,do u have any idea what she can do with my ID copy??
Can I call police as I think this is some kind of stealing? If I fire her becoz of this case,do I need to pay the 1 month compensation and return ticket??
My new maid 印印 just started with us for 2 weeks & I found out that she is a lesbian from those kissing & intimate pictures she taken with her partner. I have a daughter of 3 years old so I am very worried. Her perfornance is not good too as always on the phone & very lazy even though after lecture her many times.
Pls tell me if I could give her warning letter & ask her to go after 3 letters without giving her one month notice payment?
