I don't think so, lots of British people know French, so parents may help ga. Maybe they just started the lesson, so no homework la. Trevor will has proper French lesson in yr5, and hopefully, Irene ...

may i know how long time does your washing machine take to wash yr clothes?? mine has been washing for almost 3hrs now... i m waiting to hang the clothes mah..always wondering why takes so long!!!

I seldom do a full-load so I set it on half-load, from washing to tumble dry: about 1 hour. And I don't use cotton 60C setting neither as it uses more electricity, and the clothes shrink washing with such a high temperature!

very early wor.. but it's a very thin pillow.. only about 3cm?? depth..but it was ages ago i bought in HK ..so u'd to wait oths reply la...

As they think baby doesn't need pillow before 1 (I read this from books). I used to fold up a soft towel for Howie as pillow. Then I bought one from Ikea, a small one for baby, you can try to look for it around the baby bedding area.

It depends on which programme you use. I usually use Cotton programme with 30C water (no pre-wash) and it takes around 1.5 hours.

Actually, most garments are made to keep the shape (or size) with 40C water only. Some companies with higher standard like M&S may require 50C for Cotton.

The chinese school kiyomi is attending is the same, got the calendar for the whole year, so u know what is going on in this year.
But I kind of giving up teaching her Chinese writing la, it is so difficult for her!

homa, u said Siu wa is in year 1 in chinese school, so the chinese school has the kindergarten session ga?
The chinese school we are going starts right from year 1 ga.

Mine is about 1.5 hr for cotton and I choose to use cold water ga. I am worried too hot water will shrink the clothes!
If yours for 3 hours, is it including tumble dry ar?

Do u know some English parents don't like kids having homework after school???
It seems ridiculous to me but it is a real case, the previous school that Kiyomi was attending for reception and part of year 1, the had set homework every friday for the children. But later they canceled the homework system cos they said some parents complained about the homework.

The reason for the parents is - For adults, after work you will want to relax and do nothing, so is the same for the children, so why the children have to do homework at home? children should relax at home and learn only at school wor!

To me, I can't accept this bullshit,I can see what kind of parents will result what kinds of children, I think their philosophy is the excuse from their 'laziness'!
