then after gathering all the information , u try to negotiate with AHPRA. I have also sent 2 emails to my registration officer to discuss about the criteria 2 but still no reply from them. Lets share the information here once we get any updated information. Hope we can overcome this !!!

Criterion 2[p=18, null, left]The education institution where you studied was externally accredited during the period when you undertook your studies.

[p=18, null, left]That is, during the time you studied your education institution must have been:

subject to regular review by an external quality assurance agency and
registered or accredited by that agency.

BUT They haven't mentioned whether it is academic qualification or profession qualification. So we can't make any conclusion yet.

what is the detail of the bridging courses？

Do they still grant the PR, but you can't get a nurse job until the course is completed?？

If the English test expire (>2 years)when the bridging course is completed, do we need to take the English test again？

bridging course normally takes 3 months, i prefer monash Uni that one if you are in VIC, because part of the course can be done online, so we can save some time and money.
BUT we must get the offer from AHPRA first before applying the course.

AND for the ENG test , yes, if your test result is expire, you need to renew it. I would recommend you to apply the ANMAC first even they will tell you to pass AHPRA first, at least all documents including the ENG test result are sent to them , so at the time you apply ANMAC, your eng test is still valid. 2 years time is enough for u to pass AHPRA if you apply it once you get the ENG result
FOR the pr:AHPRA----> bridging course ---> AHPRA---->ANMAC----->

if you get the registration, you can try to get sponsorship from the hospital, if they hire you, they can help u to get the visa to AUS first, then u can apply the PR later.

thx. but I mean what should be my visa type when I study the bridging course as the course must be taken on-shore. student visa ? traveller visa ?
Do u mean AMNAC would not grant PR if AHPRA does not grant the licence? I am a bit confused as I think they are separated and independent organizations.

Thank you for lodging your application for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (the Board). Your application is currently under assessment.

Under section 85 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, as in force in each state and territory (the National Law), if a Board or its delegate has not made a decision about your application by 21 July 2015, your application will automatically be refused unless an extension of this date is agreed upon.

travel visa can study 3 months course, but i don't know we need a study visa or not. And for the PR, ANMAC will only offer a positive assessment for applicant with AHPRA registration. So no registration =no positive assessment from ANMAC = PR

According standard one point 3, liciense from AHPRA or international country is acceptable.
according to standard three, HK training still accept bu ANMAC
我會建議大家同步入埋ANMAC, 吾知佢幾時又改又收緊！

Sorry for late reply. I have been working and sick these days.
i haven't receive this email before, but I think AHPRA just simply ask you to reply them for extension. ( actually it's Ahpra doing so slowly that need an extension) how long since your application?

there is nothing related to registration from ANMAC website, but I lodged the application on last DEC and got the email from them on early April that the policy of ANMAC changed, they said that they no longer to offer the positive assessment to the applicants who has not yet registered from AHPRA. I also negotiated with them that is there any exemption regarding the changed policy as i loved my application before the policy changed and they said NO.i recommend you to lodge AHPRA and ANMAC at the sam time, both are time consuming but the required documents are similar so you can certify them in one go and mail to them.

i lodged it on April and they said that under section 85 of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, the application is needed to be completed within 90 days otherwise my application will be automatically refused. I surely agreed for the extension as i have no choice.My registration officer said that my case will be reviewed in the next meeting but will be on AUGUST. Don't know why the next meeting will be 1 month later, they are so so slow.And i know that your application had been processing for over 1 year, but you didn't get this email. Don't know why they have no consistency.
