inging - yes I knew about "no eating after exercise" but I go to play badminton right after my work - simply having an banana to fill my stomach.
then finished game at 10:00pm. arrive home at 10:30-10:45... then prepare my late super. so already 1 hour after exercise.

I guess the drawback is that - I don't have enough time to digest the food before going to bed... :-(

doggie - wow, don't eat that late, no good for health, we were already in bed by that time. Talking about losing weight, i want too. i was 108 lbs before my son was born, but now, 118lbs, no matter what i do, i can't get rid of that extra 10lbs. i used to wear size 5 (HK G2000) & now size 7 or 9, really unbelievable. My husband said my pat pat is bigger in size & the thigh is really thick, but he said he still loves me, hee hee. But it is really good in Canada, when i go out to buy clothes in Bay, i still have to go to buy in the pettie section, but for these years, i have only bought a pair of pants from Eatons 7 yrs before after the birth of my son, it was pettie size 6, & still fits as i wear it to the wedding banquet last saturday. Tomorrow will go to Red Deer, my husband's company have a baseball game function, have to get up early bringing the kids to have fun.

Calgary - you make me jealous - size 5? I only had it when I was in Secondary school.

I used to wear size 9 before getting married... during these years... I grew like the balloon. Now even size 13 not fit me anymore. I could not buy pants from G2000 except in Marks & Spenser -but they are expensive and could not afford such.

my husband called me "big elephant leg" as it is so big and Heavy. my pat pat - he he (over 40")

one lucky thing is that in Canada - I would easily buy clothes for size 10/12... but still need to loose some weight la.

can't afford to eat early with those games finished at 10:00pm.

doggie - yes, i can't believe i was size 5 when i clear up my old clothings and dump to the Salvation army. you don't know why the weight goes up, and you know, after being full-time mom, you don't need so many formal dresses, and i have not been wearing dress for n years. and my daughter always ask - mammy why don't you wear dresses, i love to wear dress, i am so pretty. she doesn't know why because i don't want people to see my 'elephant leg', hee.

Did you go to work by public transport, or you have a 'private driver' (your husband) to drive you to & from work. Gas price is really expensive, we are having 849 & i just filled it up to the trip to Red Deer.

Calgary - one thing I really like here . I was claimed to be slim in my office (in the eyes of those Westerners) but back in HK - people call me "fat C-9" :-x

yes, I do have priver driver - our gas price is 805 this morning.. not sure what is it now - I seldom drive and did not pay much attention to that.

doggie - i want to know the correct time, now is 341pm in Calgary, & you should be 541pm, but the time you show on your message is 1pm something. Now is 542am in HK ( Sat), everybody in HK is not awake yet.

yes... I knew most of the HK people is sleeping right now.. what I meant is not many 40+ mom response to the topic.

may be they find this is not interested anymore.
what time are you leaving for the red deer? have a nice weekend and trip.

doggie - you did not answer me the Toronto time now, your message show 1350, is it true??? are you still in the work place, you always stay in the office so late or because you have to wait for you 'private driver'. i think we have to get up at around 5am, and hit the highway at around 630, game starts at 930. But with the 2 kids, you have to give them & myself more time to avoid rush and late.

I am a short person, & in this western world, no white people believe that i have 2 kids, and they always guess i am still in college, hee hee

calgary - Toronto is 3 hours ahead of you.. and 12 hours behinds HK.

but the time shown on the message is all for HK time... so not sure how to reply to you la.

Inging.. cannot la.. as I go to play badminton straightly after my work. and my husband already complaint if you eat before your play - you can't run in the court..

I always ask my husband to bring an banana for me.. and that's it.

he is that's type of person -could not sleep if stomach empty.. so when he came home, no matter what - full super.

I did try to give him light super - but in the mid night - he has to get up and cook instant noodle... so I rather let him have full super instead of noodle in 3:00am.

doggie - we didn't go to Red Deer on Sat, it was raining, but still busy, took the kids to Burger King, eat & play for almost 2 hrs; then went to the library, till 5 head back home to cook the dinner, the father & son have steak grilled by daddy, - then BIG CLEAN UP waiting for me !!!

Monday again, busy days again, but 2 more soccer games & school will end on the 29th for my son, & 22nd for my daughter. Just registered him in a sports game & July is almost filled for him. Next week will be his 8th birthday, no idea what to buy & what to do - headache!!!

the weather in the east is o.k. la.
busy for the weekend too - bring my 3 monster to see Shrek 2. maconald for the neopet... watch the euro2004 with the godson. screeming and yelling all thru the games... conclude the England is stupid :-x
today - big rain storm. so end up still waiting for my private driver who got stuck in the hwy..

doggie - my son already watch Shrek 2, & i have 8 neopets at home, not understand why they keep chasing collecting those ugly neopets??? did your godsons watch a lot of TV, we have disconnect the cable because my son watch too much YTV, which i don't like. so we only have global tv and cbc, saving about 50 bucks per month.

does he stayed behind to watch the funny shots after all the credits.... my godchildren laugh so loud when they saw such.

kids do not have the patient to stay behind unless there is anything attractive to them... and here they are the cutie dragon-donkey baby..

my godchildren got the mobility satallite TV.. so they do have lots of channel to choose. However, they always watch the much more music.. and only my goddaughter is interested to the YTV...

doggie - do your god-children's watch chinese tv, do they understand, once my mom came to visit us, & we install the fairchild tv for her, my son & my mom fight for the tv, and by that time i knew that my son did not understand the chinese in the tv though he speaks very fluent chinese, just like my mom watching english channel.

both me and their mom forced them to watch Fairchild. They do love those TVB series.. Like the one just finished last Friday - they called it Chinese CSI.
They like the Tsang Chi Wai - super show a lots. Yes, they watch the show but most of the chinese they don't understand and keep asking me why we laugh.

some time they actually watch the English subtitle in order to understand what the show talking about.

doggie - BUSY BUSY BUSY week!! my son just turned 8 yesterday, we had dinner w/ him in a restaurant & a DQ cake, & almost 3/4 is in the freezer. Is it expensive to install Fairchild in Toronto, if we want it, the bill cost about $70 something, really expensive, and actually not much time to watch, i mean me. I have no intention to watch TV except news to update myself, may be because I didn't have TV when I was until Form 3 in HK, & it was only a 14" B/W TV. My parents just want us to study hard and no activities, say for example, not allowed to join Girl Guide, Safety Patrol, no this , no that. It's different from now, we want our kids to join as many activities as possible, if we can afford and if he likes it, buy i am not that kind of forcing them to join or to fulfill what i didn't do when i was small.
