40k is actually a lot! Just that my sis is quite lucky.

My sister is also an Accounting Manager. I already 'wut' her buy stuffs for my BB. She bought my BB some clothes and a 9999 gold mouse. I also envy her sooo much! Because I am housewife now without fixed income, she pays for all meals when we hang out together.

My sister used to be an Accounting Manager in one of the big-4s. I believe she's the youngest Accounting Manager (she became a Mgr at the age of 24).

I feel so bad that I am also 'wutting' all my relatives for BB gifts (already sent them a list of things I want). If I still have a job, I don't think I will do this 'cheap thing', haha.

aiya... I didn't 'wut' my sister enough then! She only bought my BB a pair of socks (worth nealry $100 for a pair of socks though!) haha

i can prove what C-Wong told was true...especially those PA of senior executives...

cuz i've engaged in that field and responsible for recruiting PA for those CEO and executives (finance and i-bank field)... apart from fixed mth salary, some of the PA may even got housing allowance (or purchase property at discounted price), transportation subsidy (or even company car), own assistant or secretary, entertainment fee, company credit card etc...cuz their role is not only secretary, but kind of boss's consultant...

honestly, such job is seldom opened for public, just internal referral or head hunt...

actually being a PA of senior executives is quite good, cuz you just need to responsible for your boss...but the most critical is that you must work well with your boss...要夾..., also ppl in finance and banking field are very superstitious in feng-shui...you better bring luck to them...

i've quitted the job as PA finally because i am soooooo bored for that frequent biz trip...so better consider whether you can afford a life of frequent flyer...

KPMG

Previously have Arthur Anderson (AA, which was one of Big 5 then), but was merged to PwC after the Enron case a few years ago

Around 10 years ago, Coopers & Lybrand (which was one of Big 6 back then) merged with Pricewaterhouse, and became the now PricewaterhouseCoopers
