Dr.Yonex,
我仔早產兒, 27週出世, 重0.835kg, touch wood無complications. 出世計現在17個月大(足月約14個月), 今個月月頭先識行.

我仔至今仍未追到磅, 高度就去到3%線(足月計), 我想知有什麼食物可以易d增磅? 我已經試過餐餐用魚湯做粥底但都無大改善. 其實增唔到磅, 除左細粒d之外, 會有什麼問題? 早產bb長大後通常會否比足月bb細粒? 我仔增磅難, 我相信係吸收問題, 我可唔可以加燕麥入粥仔度等佢腸胃吸收d呢?

想問問....氣管敏感/哮喘係未吾好食果仁及花生的呢 ? 食左係未會引起病發的呢 ?
另.. 如呼吸好似有'he he'聲, 但又無咳, 呼吸亦吾急速的, 而且隔一陣又會無'he he'聲的, 咁算吾算係哮喘發作呀 ? 因阿仔尋晚有咁的情況, 但'he he'聲係斷斷續續的, 跟住隔一陣又聽吾到'he he'聲的, 因我怕自己會聽錯而亂比氣喘藥阿仔食.

Ans.: He's not slow for weight gain, but only premature at birth. We shouldn't be too demanding!

Ans.: Not necessary true. Only true if he's allergic to nuts

Ans.: Check if the sound comes in with Inspiration or expiration first. Inspiration(吸氣) sound means upper airway including the throat and the nose. Expiration (呼氣) sound means lower airway, 支氣管/哮喘.

我囡囡昨天發燒, 因為看開的兒科醫生放假, 故改看樓下的普通科西醫, 他開了一種叫Brufen的藥, 請問這是什麼藥? 以前看開的兒科醫生開的藥叫Bifen, 這兩種藥有何不同?
另外, 為什麼通常普通科西醫的藥每天吃四次, 而兒科醫生的藥每天吃三次

Ans.: Brufen is a proper labeling that every doctor knows. Bifen is probably the same thing. Brufen is for fever, body ache/pain.

Ans.:three times a day is the correct dosing, according to the excretion rate of the medication by the baby/small kid from the body. Med. will easily accumulate if given 4 times a day, as being used in adult.

Happy Chinese New year!
My bb was sick last week, suffering Vinal Infection.
Now her fever gone. But just she still cough and lots of mucus in her thoats. What should I do to remove the mucus.

Let her recover by drinking some more fluid. or try Bisolvon 2.5ml three times a day. See a Dr. if necessary.

my BB's face (4 months) has so many 粒粒, seems like 奶廯。He love to 啜手指 and then use his hand 抹落塊面度, that's why so many 奶廯 caused(I think). What cream can apply (No 類固醇) ? I used EgoCream before but not work! Is he need to change milk powder (A+) ? Please advise!

Ans.:Try Sorbolene cream.
I used EgoCream before but not work! Is he need to change milk powder (A+) ?

Thanks for your reply. I would like to know what is the difference for paracetmol Merck Susp and Brufen. The doctor yesterday gave the above two medecine to my daughter.

paracetmol Merck Susp = Panadol.
Brufen = Ibuprofen is an NSAID, like med. for joint pain and can be use for fever in addition.

BB now 9-months old, grandpa 生蛇, could they contact, or bring BB to his home. Can it be airborne?
